I imagine we'll try and sell everyone before appointing a manager, that way he can't complain about being forced to sell.
 
Josh Scowen seems to be available on a free from Barnsley, Villa & a few others after him as he wants a team capable of challenging for promotion.
He seems to be a Clucas type player, press saying £9K a week, doesn't sound too bad.

West Ham have submitted a bid worth in the region of £20m for Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho.

Newcastle United have made an enquiry for Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina.

That's cheap if they get Iheanacho for that amount. I think he looks a great player whenever I've seen him.
 
Would like the barnsley centre back and captain if/when we sell maguire. Marc roberts 26 years of age , burnley were interested in jan and a 3.5m fee was suggested

Could be a good shout. Harlee Dean is somebody who has been linked with us before, only 25 and 6"3, English and has close to 300 appearances. I'd bid for him.

EDIT: I didn't realise Jota had gone back to Brentford either, he'd be a great signing too.

Seems a similar style to maguire, big strong with age on his side and leadership qualitys. Burnely wanted him as cover but if were savvy enough to offer him first team football then could sway it our way.

Who does harlee dean play for sterling im not familiar

I think itl be interesting to see what funds ehab puts forward for the new coach, interesting he stated this time around were abit more finanically sound due to the relegation release clauses inserted into contracts, as well as selling two of our top earners in livermore and snodgrass, and also the bulk of signings we made were on loan and have now been released which further reduces our wage bill by a big margin. Parachute payments on top hopefully we have adequate funds to make some strong signings as strikers aint cheap

He plays for Brentford. Done it in non-league for years, stepped up to the league and has done well. Deserves a chance to get to the Premier League.

were we linked to a striker from reading not long ago?
