Would that be the same we'll run Southampton that went bust/ administration?
Who then came back owing huge sums to local business but continued to spend big with Russian money?
Or maybe there's another one ?

the bit in bold is total nonsense so yeah, it must be another one.

and yeah, southampton did go into administration but they are incredibly well run these days. most definitely NOT a club to criticise for the reasons you are, that's for sure!

he certainly needed injections. rumour was that it may have been shin splints - not confirmed as far as i know. he may have recovered from it given that he barely played last season

I didn't think there was a cure for shinsplints, I thought they had to be "managed!"

I think I suffer from this, if I walk even a short distance with the wrong type of shoes on, my shins become very sore.

I believe this is true, doesn't affect how good he is with either foot, I think its fairly long lasting thing which would imply that he was probably suffering from it when he played his best football for us. Question is how involved in training can he be?

I think JWM suffers from brain splints, he gets a head ache when he concentrates with the wrong type of hat on.

Suddenly our 'Summer 2014 Transfers Mega-thread' turns into a discussion of personal ailments. Things really are slow at the moment, aren't they? :emoticon-0105-wink:

What you want to do is make sure you wear the right type of shoes then, even for walking short distances <ok>

I've learnt nothing about the transfer activity but I'm now pretty sure I have shin splints.

He's the tiny French winger. Couldn't be further from Fer in terms of appearance and style. Don't see why he'd want to go to QPR!

Valbuena is class. Surely no chance of him going to QPR?!?!?

Hope we have replacements in mind for Redmond and Fer! Also hope we dont let either go for less than £10m!

Who would be your choices to replace each of them?

After the Bastia match, Paddy Davitt spoke to NA: "On transfers in: nothing imminent. On outs, principally Leroy Fer, still maintains it will take 'big money' 2 prize him away". So Fer is the only iron in the fire at the moment, then, and 'big money' will be required for anything to happen there. Things seem to be well under control, whatever rumours are bandied about.
