Urgh...watching the other night I just can't see anything like value in that fee. He's pacey and delivers a decent cross, but looks far too lightweight for the all-round contribution we would be looking for. Really don't understand this if it happens.

Yep...would have the potential to exceed the Forren signing in terms of craziness for me. At least we were in a panic then, we have no excuse to blast 8m on this lad!

When you said you watched him the other night, did you mean the Iraq game? Because he actually impressed me then, the first time I've watched him and not gone "eh, looks alright".

I'm still hoping that Banega meets up with them in Spain! They couldn't sign him before they left as they knew he'd raid the in-flight drinks trolley and join the mile high club with a stewardess on the way over. Hopefully the Romeu loan is a move to free him up for us.
