Yeah, he looked good but it wouldn't make me want to go out with chequebook in hand if I was a club chairman. He spends quite a bit of time looking a bit lost.

I put that down to his teammates a lot of the time. They were all knackered so while he'd be fresh and trying to make things knackered, he'd have to delay whatever he wanted to do and look for something else, rather than have no idea. Perhaps I just wanted to see him as good to make me feel better, I don't know.

All round contribution? I've never seen him, but if he's Lacey and delivers a decent cross, then that ticks the two most important boxes for a wide player. Messi, Coutinho, Neymar can all look a bit lightweight.
 
Whilst its hard to make a great judgement on Bueno and his sub appearances I'm pleased we're shopping in South America.
Many clubs in continental Europe are buying youngsters from there and making some tidy profits; Suarez, Ramirez, Coutinho as recent examples.

It's a gamble as you have no idea how a young man will settle being so far from home, but worth the risk for the right price.
 
Its funny how we all moan about how long transfers take to be completed and then after they sign there is that feeling of emptiness that there is not a rock solid rumour to discuss! The joys of being a Saints fan! Come on Luke - time to get your watch!
 
What about Dempsey from Spurs. He appears unwanted by Spurs so the transfer fee can't be much. Can play wing or CF. Not a young upcoming player like we typically get. Wages might be high though.
