It is getting to a point where it is what do we want more:
1.) Club reputation
2.) Points
One of the things that drove this armchair, plastic, glory hunting 90's fan to follow LFC was the club ethos and philosophy of how they play. I think there will be a fine, ban (obviously) but also think there has been a quiet word to Suarez , " You have taken us through a racism case, giving the middle finger to fulham, dealing with punching gonzalo jara ( international), and biting (again) a player..... what will it take? Last chance saloon"
It is a tough one but I think Suarez needs a long long hard look in the mirror. When your wife is threatening to not come to any more games due to your antics, something is wrong.......... and then you go bite someone.
As much as we all love his skills as a player I'm amazed at the ridiculous level of support he's getting from some of you lot. It seems one man can become bigger than the club.
We've a right to make our own decisions, you have yours Billy, **** am I gonna let you give me mine, bigger than the club,? Bollox mate, leave your moany moral baggage at home
I see no reason to get into the rights and wrongs of yesterday as there's really nothing to defend..."aaaw but he's misunderstood"no he ****ing isn't misunderstood... this guys got mental issues. There's no misunderstanding.
Again, your opinion, nicely done from your sofa, become an athlete at the top of your sport and I've give a little more credit to your whinging
"Aaaw but such and such has done bad things before"so what? Did you excuse Diouf for spitting because Rijkard did it too?
No, but footballers will always get up to such ****, they can't go punching each other about the place so they resort to that ****, it's been happening since pro football began.
What pisses me off most about yesterday isn't the bad press or the fact we might sell him its the fact that todays headlines should have been about our support and tribute to Anne Williams. Instead Suarez has given the media very good reason not to even give Anne a passing mention. THAT is what his actions yesterday have cost more than anything else.
Like he went out with that intent!! it was a spit second frustration thing and yes you are a beacon of truth honesty and dignity for all of humanity, and blame Suarez for what the media choose to print based on WHAT PEOPLE WANT TO ****ING READ, blaming Suarez for the consumers elevation of crap bollox media content is deluded in the extreme.
Defend him all you like but for me that's unforgivable.
Halfless ****wits!? I very much have a half.....two infact

This event might make it more likely that he stays this summer, as he's soiled goods with yet another blemish on his already **** stained CV

I say it again: other leagues don''t see cheating as the heinous crime the British do. Hell, the French suspended an investigation into Ribery soliciting an under-age prostitute so he could play in the World Cup. All this will do is drive the price down because other clubs will know the Yanks are PR-sensitive so this could be the last straw.
I reiterate the media print what sells, that's the consumers fault, but not it seems it is Suarez' fault, you are a consumer, in essence we are more to blame for the media than Suarez
Well I'll be at most of those games and I won't be singing his nameyesterday should have been about spreading the word worldwide about the amazing efforts and strength of Anne Williams. Instead we have the world discussing his lunatic antics AGAIN.
Blame suarez for the ****tiest media on the planet why don't you, a media you subscribe to
Halfless means without one half, as in half ass argument, get it, duhhh. Frank n Beans
That's not bringing it on![]()
The club should punish him for the negative publicity on the club its self.
And move on
BB's arse is bleeding with anticipation we'll get rid, just like Fergie and every other **** that can't stand it that we have a better player than any of theirs
The players Fergie has defended. Rooney Giggs Scholes Keane Ferdy Cantona to name but a few
LOL I had just never heard that expression before is all.
I dont necessarily disagree with alot of the stuff on here.
I disagree with people deflecting his behaviour by pointing out other ****. Thats pretty childish and is a sign of a desperate "Defend by attacking" tactic.
But I do disagree that Liverpool should get rid of him. He should be staunchly punished, made to have counselling then everyone should move on with Suarez told by Liverpool that future conduct of this ilk wont be tolerated, he is in England now, not Uruguay.
I am looking at it from Liverpool fans perspective, if Drogba had done this a few years back, I wouldnt have wanted rid of him.
Chelsea did sack a player for his conduct once, Adrian Mutu, but that was drug related. Suarez just needs sorting. He should have one more chance imo.

**** off Billy you broken record, no doubt someone posted this topic to you as an angle to get at to get at you and you've taken up the banner,Blame suarez for the ****tiest media on the planet why don't you, a media you subscribe to

Normally, retrospective punishment cannot be administered if the ref saw the incident. However this is a trial by media I'm afraid. Even if he did, the FA will still act and ban him mainly due to media/public reaction.
He will be punished and rightfully so but some of the comments from the media are terrible - especially Sky. I thought someone had died on the pitch the way Ed Chamberlain reviewed the match.
