There have been plenty of players over the years who have done stupid,disgraceful things and have their clubs got rid of them? In most cases no.
So why should suarez go, yes he is a dick for doing that but he is also our best player by far (check Torres' performance today to see the difference).
This is all down to the medias hatred of him (he doesn't help himself I know) but its not a career threatening tackle or a Kung fu kick at a spectator, or a nasty elbow in the face of an unsuspecting Wigan midfielder.
He will have to take his medicine. Liverpool should handle it internally and warn him of his future conduct...but get rid . Please no.

Could well be his last game in a Liverpool shirt - which is what opposing fans, various newspapers and certain managers have wanted all along, ever since he slalomed through United's defence two years ago. You stupid, stupid arsehole. All that said, and anticipating tne holier than thou pontifications from Lawton and Holt tomorrow, I still can't see how people are extrapolating that it somehow proves Evra (who changed his story three times about what, when, where and how many times he was called what he claimed) right, any more than it proves Suarez deliberately punched the ball in against Mansfield and celebrated by kissing his wrist to wind-up their fans. So be wary of all the self-righteous gobshites who've shouted the odds every time he went over in the box (even when they were blatant penalties like against Norwich and united). Can't - and won't - defend him, but that doesn't mean we never could.

I haven't said anything about caring about their image. But you know who does care about FSG's image? FSG do. Like I have said before, in he grand scheme of things, they do not give a **** where we are in terms of on-field success as long as they have commercial success. Know why CL is a main goal for them? ££££!!!!
 
He deserves footballer of the year (for the fact he clearly has been) and a ban for 4+ games. I'm not sure either will happen. I think the FA acting fast works in your favour, who cares if you don't have him for the end of this season there's not alot at stake. Far worse to lose him for the start of next season, if he's still there (and i think he will be).

For those making comments otherwise then you can be assured that biting someone is much worse than putting in a bad challenge (which may give a worse injury). I play each weekend and you accept the odd bad challenge, tempers may flare but if someone gets injured thats a chance you take everytime you go on the field. But if someone bit another player they'd get a proper few smacks from their opponents and no-one on their team would stick up for them.

In isolation this is bad, when added to a litany of minor and major incidents it reeks of someone who is never going to toe the line. When Barton was at Newcastle I openly criticised him and wanted him gone despite the fact that he was, on his day, our stand-out player. There's only so much shame you can take from one player before you start to wonder if he cares what he's doing to the name of the club.

reminds when my daughter was six and got into an argument with her cousin about Easter eggs. She came running down the stairs screaming, claiming that she'd been bitten and showed us the bite mark. My sister grabbed her daughter and was just about to give her a go-along when i said "hang on, there's a gap here in this bite and you lost your front teeth a couple of months ago!". "I know", said my now sheepish girl, "but she did bite me but it's gone now, so I did it myself so you could see what she'd done"...

Before you say it, she takes after her mum.

having a raging debate the day it happened is all well and good but the real question is will he be banned before the next game and if so who should i stick in my FF team for the run in LOL

I don't think what Huth did to Suarez was worse, if he had bitten Huth after that would anyone have had a problem, Did Ivanovic do something to him at some point in the game, I am seriously doubting he just bit him for nothing.

The club should say fk off, we'll deal with it, no comment, we'll handle it ourselves and let the FA decide their own action.

I would be interested to here Suarez' own take on why he did it.

I did see on skysports pic of Suarez in suit holding a Chelsea shirt in one hand. Would make sense that rumour is true
