Ivanovic showed the ref his arm. If there is a mark then the ref becomes a witness. Then the FA can look to see if Ivanovic bit himself. Unlikely.

Unfortunately i agree, but that is what i ideally would like to see happen. Especially the club stance.

You could always partner Suarez up front next season with Peter Cushing.

This you could apply to a few players over the years. Cantona and Maradona spring to mind.
I'd want them in my side no matter what. As a few have said, Suarez is what he is, he had previous when we signed him and as we all know he's had issues since.
My point of view is this. I won't defend him as some of the things he does are indefensible, but I want brilliant players in my side every game. Players that get you off your seat, players that win you games by pure brilliance. So I'll take the **** that comes with Suarez over the option of not having Suarez at all, every day of the week thanks.

FSG should see the bigger picture that actually Suarez is our only way of getting CL. I am still gobsmacked that a player of his ability plays for us still, in a team of such utter mediocrity. Today he showed that again by single handedly getting us a point with his on-a-plate cross and his goal. But I supposed if we sold him we could get another Henderson and Downing, or Allen and Borini? Definitely worth it

If FSG get rid of Suarez, I WANT THEM OUT, Luis has shown INFINITELY more passion will to win than FSG have done in time or ever f**kin will do

If we had 10 Luis Suarez we would be PL Champions, I dont give a flying f**k what the media says

If Suarez goes, so do Ayre and FSG , I want people who win football matches at the club, its that simple

Our wet-drip owners and fish face Ayre wouldnt know passion if it hit them in the face. Another who knows what passion is about is Gerrard, and he made his views perfectly clear today when he stood by Suarez with his comments

This is what should happen, public apology from Luis saying he let the club down and the fans for his actions. He donates ALL his wages for all the ban to charity, possibly the HSG, Luis says he wants to make up for it to the LFC fans by scoring lots of goals

B4F, You can't prove intent. If he did not sink his teeth in then he has not actually bitten anybody.

What he did was stupid but unless Ivanovic actually makes a complaint then none of us know if the act really took place or we have witnessed a simulation.

So let the media have its field-day and the 'supporters' their wrath. LFC now have to rationally decide exactly what is in the clubs best interests.

This will be a typical bias poll vote.....you will see most Liverpool supporters saying one thing and you will see the rest wanting him gone from Liverpool.....why is that you ask....Its because he is one of the best strikers in the premiership if not the best and fans are envious......Liverpool should if proven punish him but no way should you sell a talent as a goal scorer like him as these fans that would want you to get rid would love their own clubs to snap him up.......<laugh>

Last time I checked football was a sport not a corporate image contest. Bad things happen in all sports, I hope the club just takes the punishment and gets on with it. As others have said, without Suarez this season would have been a total cluster ****.

Stupid thing to do, you would think he would have more sense after the other incidents. He is probably going to miss out on some matches now and stop your club finishing the season on a high too. As far as selling him though i dont think Liverpool could get another striker of half his quality next season without any champions league or europa to offer so if he does go it will be by his choice and no one else.

    An honest fan

Did United sell Cantona after he kung fued a fan, did they f**k, there are ways round this, oppsition fans hate Suarez cos he so good not because of other issues. We MUST keep Luis at all costs, YOU DONT SELL YOUR BEST PLAYERS, 1ST RULE OF FOOTBALL,Alonso,Masch,Nando

Public apology, fine Suarez, money to go to charity or HSG . Problem solved

Seriously though, If there had been a clear bite mark on his arm surely the ref would have given a straight red there and then?? :/

Don't get me wrong, I would love Suarez to stay for footballing reasons. I just suspect that if the debacle from last season, the ensuing witch hunt and PR disaster it led to are some of the reasons KK lost his job, how long before it costs Suarez his job? The corporate image is very important to FSG and is surely one of the reasons Brendan McTalksShite was appointed.

Ivanovic could have been bitten by his son prematch for all the ref could tell. Or any other player on the pitch.
