Yeah BB the look on his face <laugh>

"Whaaa!! Where did that bite mark go, I could have sworn there was a lump missing from my arm"

if Friend saw a big set of teeth marks in Ivans arm Friend would definitely have talked to Suarez right away after seeing it even if he couldn't card him that late after the offence.

    This is from Liverpool website

"Even though we had one or two opportunities I didn't think we were at our best in the first half. I said to the players at half-time that we needed to be more aggressive in our game and show what we've showed a lot of the season.

See, he was only doing what his manager asked him to do. Probably shouldn't have said " you need a bit more bite to your performance today ,Louis "

By the way, is that the same Graeme Souness in full piety mode condemning Suarez for bringing shame onto the club during Hillsborough week who, er, sold his story to the Sun when he was manager of the club during, er, Hillsborough week?

If it were a dross player like Shelvey or Downing who bit an opposition player, would any LFC fan care if they were thrown out out of the club?

    Chelsea fan here.

I don't blame Suarez at all. At the time I called him vermin (but that was knee jerk). Suarez is just a red herring for the bigger issue which is the incompetence of refereeing and the FA in this country.

In life you will only do as much as you can get away with. Ivanovic will play football again this season after a bite to the arm, I'm not sure the same could have been said for Massadio Haïdara, David Luiz (last weekend) or Ryan Bertrand/Kyle Walker today.

Suarez is a top quality footballer but comes with baggage, nonetheless I think the poll is too knee jerked.

Bit of a daft argument that, and this is coming from someone who is openly condemning Suarez.

Not many fans are attempting to defend his actions, but every football supporter in the country is well aware of his quality and how ridiculously lucky we've been to have a player of such calibre playing for us whilst we're languishing outside the CL spots. A lot of fans are agreed that the guy is a plonker but a bloody talented plonker and so keep him no matter what the PR backlash is.

Ivanovic will be ok. Suarez will get three games. Would people have reacted as badly if it'd been a two-footed lunge? Sturridge will get away with his high tackle on Bertrand. Same as Defoe getting away with it years ago.

Total knee-jerk reaction from our forum and the media.
