Hmmm. I rest my case.

I've said it before, Suarez's actions are nothing to do with Liverpool FC and everything to do with the FA proving you can get away with assault depending on who you are (see Wayne Rooney on McCarthy and Montenegro player or Rio Ferdinand on Torres).

At the beginning of the season if you sit down and say to ALL players they will face a 10 game ban if visibly seen assaulting another player off the ball it'll stop instantly. Terry's red card against Barcelona last season was a clear case of a player that is untouchable in the Premier League but not in Europe. In La Liga/Bundesliga there is no such culture for any player. Years of Gerrard, Ferdinand, Terry, Lampard, Carragher, Rooney and co receiving preferential treatment is coming back to bite the authorities on the ass.

What the actual **** has the FA got to do with that cretin biting an opponent?

That's the biggest pile of ****e I've read on the issue, even dickhead donga wouldn't have written that bollocks

I don't know what to do to be honest.

I hate the fact he drags our shirt through the **** hence me saying we should sell him.

But at the end of the day without him we're ****ed.

Him and Gerrard retiring would be a disaster - although it will probably happen anyway to be fair.

We'll take him off your hands - when he's suspended he can help our fans out when we have a punch up with each other <cheers>

I wasn't prepared to condemn him whilst all the frenzy was going on.

I've seen it again - and again and again. I've listened to the statements from Ayre and Rodgers and read the statement from Suarez. It's clear that he did do it and its right that he has taken responsibility for letting everybody down with his behaviour. It's now up to the FA to decide upon any penalty that may ensue..

As for Suarez's continued stay with LFC, then that is something that the club and owners will have to decide. It is a decision that is best left for the dust to settle.

One person who I would like to applaud is Ivanovic. Whilst he too can behave like a thug on the pitch, in this instance he has kept his counsel.

Was nowhere near as bad as what Pepe got a 10 match ban for a few years back - think he kicked a payer 3 times, punched 2 others, and then abused the officials.

Manna from heaven for you this, as it'll no doubt shortly give a report to paw over & weep about the injustice of the punishment for the next 6 months, you tedious, deadly boring, gobshite <ok>

Doubt it, as I've already said you can't defend him. Unlike you appear to defend Ferguson for deliberately injuring (and hospitalising) opponents. And don't condemn me for being one of the few who actually read the 115 page report, just because you, the media and the FA themselves didn't. Not my fault it's riddled with more inconsistencies and contradictions then the FA's stance over the four nominations to the 2005/6 CL compared to what they told Chelsea and Arsenal the year before.

True.

Its just tiring hearing Suarez names in vain and our too.

I wish he would just get on with his job and keep his cool.

Hash, it seems theres a lot of "easily brainwashed by the media types" on the board, who think what they are told to think by the media, instead of using there own brain to make judgements

Yeah that's it, I waited to be told by Gary Linekar that its a disgrace to bite someone (again) rather than 30+ years ago by my P1 teacher

Get a ****ing grip. But by all means come give me the slap I so obviously deserve....

As for comparing to other pricks? I can hardly stand on moral high ground & judge those players then turn round & use them as an excuse when its my own. Wrong is wrong.

Its not just this incident. I gave him a clean slate when he joined: everyone deserves that. I defended him, then I defended him then I defended him again. He's spat on that support.

Its not what others think, its that he doesn't give a **** how he makes the club & the fans who support him look like chumps.

And its his MO. he doesn't want to stay so he makes his staying unpalatable. He's done it before.

He's a ****ing coward and forgiving continuous thug behaviour for a few more points (polishing that cup he won for us this year as I type) means the same old ****e next year.

He's a ****ing adult; a father. Where's his self control. Its called being a man.

You'd put a ****ing glass eye to sleep

Do Liverpool fans believe Liverpool would win more matches next season with Luis Suarez or not

MODs can you NOT delete/merge the thread ,as this thread is asking purely about whether or not we will win more games, not other issues surrounding it

Not irrelevant to point out that some players have got away scot-free for doing more than Suarez did today - even bombhead Bird should concede that. Doesn't negate that what Suarez did was foul though, and he'll get what's coming to him.

Depends if we spend the money wisely. His value hasn't dropped, if no one offers the required amount then he stays.

We need to strengthen in other areas and improve our defence. Suarez has scored all them goals this season and we are still mid table.

This is the most reasonable and thought out comment I have read for some time. Kudos to you Sir, and have a nice life.

He absolved the player of any blame in his previous post, he was merely playing to the crowd with sycophantic nonsense. People using other incidents & the FA to deflect away from the fact that horse face has carried out a cowardly & idiotic act on the pitch are apologists

Some people are saying who would take him for £30m - £35m , would you really think LFC with there track record last 3 yrs replace him adequately.

Hes a WORLD CLASS PLAYER, on form he would be in the World 11, if we want to win, you dont sell players of that quality, its that simple

So you really think, theres as much chance of success on the pitch next season without Suarez as there is with him, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

Given the comatose state of the ****e board since you came over after being thrown out of JA I'll take that as the endorsement of a master.

It was moth balled way before my arrival, my view would be endorsed by plenty of United posters who I'm told you bored ****less over the great Suarez injustice, before they banned you of course <ok>
