Claiming Liverpool are on the rise to the top and Arsenal on a decsent to Liverpools level though and your just making yourself look silly 
@enigma - you say that as if its a joke - but realistically i cant see them finishing any higher than 6th with or without Suarez
It was no joke pal, had moyes not moved on there would have been no hope in hell that a manager like rodgers would have gotten the better of moyes, and the top 6 would have been locked out, thanks to SAF retirement and moyes moving on they have a chance to get back into the top 6.

To above comments; Liverpool are on the way up, but it will be gradual. We are not yet ready for top 4 I feel, and it would take a good season to come 5th.

Not my fault that you don't have the cognitive ability to discern very much. What I wrote about our fanbase is true and goes well beyond the commercial receipt listings (approximations actually) that you rely on. Just think for a moment as to the most watched football match globally for the last 10 years and which teams take part - I can assure you it's not Arsenal!
The fact that you don't want to even contemplate that LFC are on the rise following the H&G debacle is purely down to your myopia. Whereas your arrogance resulting from CL bit part longevity is laughable (as they say, come back and talk when you have a CL trophy for keeps). You are now so desperate that your club is willing to sacrifice all of the commercial player rules that it has developed over the last decade to merely slow your rate of decline.
Sad to say, our biggest obstacles to achieving a 4th spot (or better) this season are not Arsenal but another club that also inhabits North london
Come back when you have won a premier league trophy, then we will talk, all these scousers going on about how we have been in the champions league 16 times and never won it, you have been in the premier league 20 times and never won it.
Your league positions have not really improved in the last 3 years, so no progress being made.

@Red - Sorry but the fact is that your not as big of a club as you once where - things have changed over the last 10 years. Arsenal and Chelsea have both grown massive fanbases round the world due to more recent successes coinciding with the growth in popularity of the EPL around the world. Liverpool have a smaller fanbase globally than Arsenal.
You having the opinion that if you asked a random person they are more likly to know liverpool is not evidence - its a random statement that holds no truth or substance unless you can back it up. Which you can't as the only figures available disagree with you.
Your living in the past. The FACT is that you don't compare to Arsenal on any scale anymore. Stadium, fanbase, success, players, manager, finances - currently we enjoy higher levels of all of these and any other way of deciding which club is currently the bigger and better...
The fact that you think Spurs are your main rivals to get a 4th place spot speaks volumes about your lack of ability to conteplate even the most basic level of reasoning. Considering that Arsenal have finished above Spurs for even more consecutive seasons than we have finished above you lot i fail to see how they are the competition for 4th spot. Arsenal have been in that top 4 for the last 16 years running - to write us off and say it'll be between Spurs and Liverpool both of whom have failed repeatedly to knock us out the top 4 (even when spurs made top 4 it was at the expense of Chelsea or City NOT Arsenal) is just plain stupidity.
