be surprised if we have that much bargaining power of specifying no English club.
for me it will be a set value and to any CL club.

So he's doing a "Rooney" is he?
Dear oh dear, so does this mean that you're going to go from defending the indefensible, to calling him a ****, to loving him again?
haha, this is ace, what a soap opera, footballers are the most fickle, greedy ****ers on the planet.

I've bookmarked this
Only joking.
I've been thinking about how I would feel if one of our lot did this to us & then turned on his heels. Not sure tbh, I think they'd always be tarnished, as they'd showed the club & the fanbase disrespect. I think in Suarez case, this is even more pertinent given the way he's been supported (at times blindly imo) by reds & the club, but I suppose ultimately what happens on the pitch will always gloss over anything else, that's football.
I can't see Suarez signing a contract that has a £50m or £55m release clause. It is clear for all to see that no one is willing to pay that sort of money. I think it would be a compromise of about £45m but not to an English club. I'll be pissed if he gets a payrise out of it #****
Apology...
What was BR's actual wording? Would an apology in private suffice?
I don't remember him being backed by most regarding the handshake thing. And very few defended him over the bite, many wanted him sold.
I thought he said he should apologise to the fans?
Can't be bothered to check.
Least if he stays I won't have to change my name![]()

So in other words, Arsenal wont pay more than they've offered, we wont sell anyway especially not to Arse. Real aren't interested and neither are any of the top European clubs. Suarez is stuck and wants a contract with a definite release clause so he can get out next summer if we don't get CL.
Yeh cause that'll be the most exciting thing to come out of all this![]()
Also remember him being slated on here for his dive against Stoke (rightly so). But you may be right about the handshake.
“There needs to be an apology to his team-mates and to the club and once we get that commitment that he is ready then we will have the player we have always had,” Rodgers declared.

Fine by me. As long as he apologises to the club he's disgraced and he gets a new clause that is a definitive release clause but not to English teams then great, a club that finished 7th in the league has kept one of the top 10 players in the world for another season.
