Well both Ian Ayre, Brendan Rodgers and John Henry have been consistent in their stand by saying he's not for sale and no offer would even be considered that did not meet his true market value. £47 is more than a mile off that

If it was all about the money then Chelsea and City would not be above you because they have made very little of it!

OK personally speaking I'd like us to sell for more than 50mill since Cavani went for 55 and Suarez is Uruguay top scorer and almost the PL top scorer. Would feel somewhat aggrieved if it happened at the price that article says, it's not too much more to get from 47-50 and would smack of more low-balling from you.
If true, good on 'em. That'll learn the pube some manners and humility...doubt it.
