If Rodgers had 3 Suarez's 1 Downing and 1 Coutinho, but Wenger had 2 Wilshere's 2 Gervinho's and 4 Cazorla's, how many more Spearing's does it take to make a footballer pie?
Random? Oh dear mate, listen, you get to a final by beating all the teams you play on the way. It's not a lottery. I'm sorry to be the one who tells you but you see you have a manager who ****s up these games so much and that is why you don't get to have trophies any more.

Ok so Wenger has won a toal of 11 trophies in his 16-17 years at Arsenal, and Liverpool have won 13-14 in 25 years. So in an additional 8-9 years Liverpool have won 2-3 more trophies than Wenger at Arsenal. If we take just 20 years Wenger has won the same amount and if we compare Liverpool over the same time period Wenger has won more.
Not sure whats so deluded about me saying off the top of my head without researching it that Wenger at Arsenal has won more than Liverpool over the last 20-25 years when he has won a very similar amount of things. He has won more FA Cups, League Titles and Community shields than Liverpool in 25 years, granted Liverpool have a couple of european trophies in that quarter century, but take away your league cups and Wenger has more trophies.

As much as we don't want to admit it Liverpool fans, Arsenal ARE bigger than us at the moment, maybe not big enough for Suarez but that's our opinion. Suarez should be playing for a CL team, whether that's Arsenal or not is another matter. I just hope we **** Suarez off for as much as we can, and hopefully we'll invest it wisely.
Like how you pointed out the cyclicality of the debate and then prolong it.
Looking at it objectively, on league position in the last few seasons Arsenal you would have to say are the 'bigger club'. Regular CL football, won a few jugs/plates.
In terms of history, global brand recognition, support base and overall trophies won historically LFC is probably 'bigger', that's not trying to detract from AFC who have their own pedigree.
I don't mind Arsenal at all, got a couple of mates who are AFC fans and are amongst the more reasonable and intelligent supporters I know. Citeh fans nowadays on the other hand.

If its not random then Wigans cup is just as important and can be used to justify Wigan being a superior club to City, Liverpool and Arsenal in the same way Liverpools League Cup can be used to try and be superior to Arsenal. Is that what your saying? Thats really poor logic.

Of course it's important - winning is the whole point of taking part.
And yes, they had a superior season than City, Liverpool and Arsenal.
For them to be a superior club they would have to do it on a regular basis though.

It's not a single trophy. We won so many trophies in Europe they let us keep it forever rather than bother to keep returning it.

As you can see, you're just above Aston Villa, and a long way off Liverpool. You're not terrible by any means, but nothing special either.
