To me, that transcript suggests he doesn't want to leave Liverpool but feels he needs to (career, family, etc) and he has a chance to fulfil a dream he said he wanted to pursue when he joined.

Pretty much. We all say we know we're a fallen lady but we deep down in the gut expect the great players to feel privileged to play for us. Even in today's environment the idea that players see other clubs as bigger hurts.

Although OT, that's a question I've always wanted answered, if the Dali Lama gets reincarnated as the Dali lama: why did he run away from the Chinese? He could have been the most passive but annoying super hero ever!

Hope we get £50m AND, isn't it time, as I said last month, to ban all English media from Anfield except the BBC and the Post/Echo? Whoever we get, if they start playing well, the likes of Samuel, Holt, Lawton and Powell will soon be on their case and whipping up another witch-hunt hysteria. If Sturridge continues his form, then wait and see - they'll be unsettling him and doing their damnest to force a sale as soon as they can, and a compliant FA will do any dirty work put their way.
 
Love the enthusiasm but please, KEEP THE SUAREZ THREADS TO THIS ONE. It is better to have it on one. If RHC has info on Suarez it will go here, if he has info on anything else it will go with the transfer rumors.
