When will Suarez leave?

  • Pre-contract, gone 1st day

  • Gone in July

  • Gone in August

  • Gone on transfer deadline day

I'd like to know about the release clause as well. From what I've read it was the Mirror who first came up with £40m release clause. How would anyone other than those involved ie club/player know about it?

Well if I was Suarez and wanted a move I would make sure that that part of my contract became public knowledge.
 
I reckon both sides are well capable..... lfc might leak that just to ensure everyone is attracted by it. compared to cavani and a few others who i'd veiw as lesser players are going for more.

squarez is basically better but is damaged goods so 40 is fine by me
 
He's a liability, take the £££'s and let him go, anyone who isn't fully committed to the club is not needed, whoever it is.

To be honest I care a lot less than I did over Torres.

As great as Suarez is, he has brought the clubs image to its knees and i'd take someone like Higuian and 30 million.

Cashing in on him might not be such a bad thing.

We should not keep a player who is not committed, other than a means of making a clubs play top dollar for him.

My loyalty is to the badge, not Suarez.

Above Suarez is the 'That Magic Assist By Luis'. Completely unrelated I'm sure <whistle>

Does make me laugh though, why would people like that bother getting a players name on the back of their shirts? Especially as Suarez has made it no secret that his ambition is to play for Barca or Real <doh>
 
Let’s start with the good :
  • 2nd in the Premier League in goals.
  • 1st in Shots per Game.
  • 3rd in Key Passes per game.
  • 1st in successful dribbles per game.

Suarez was a handful and then some.



Now for the bad:
  • 1st in the league for being dispossessed.
  • 2nd for turning the ball over.
  • 3rd in Offsides per game.

Great key pass numbers, but only 5 assists on the season. A 76.6% pass rate. (For comparison, Mata and Hazard were both over 85%, RVP was 80.2%.) A 12.2% conversion rate on total shots.”
 
What shirt is it?

Edit: can see the sleeve now (on phone) so I know its the third strip. To be fair, it deserves burning <laugh>
 
Part of me thinks its the press who set up stuff like that just for a story.

I don't hate Suarez as a result of him leaving. I became quite apathetic after Torres tbh who really did shaft us.

I think he has suffered, but he is also a moron.

I've been convinced of that for years. "here's £200 if you burn your shirt..."
 
Yeah too good to be true.

I never have players names on my shirt because they move too often!

If I did i'd of binned the Torres one but not burnt the badge.

I don't anymore but I had Torres when he joined. Its under my bed and has not been out since 31 January 2011!

I won't chuck or burn it, he bought us some great times and as much as I think he is a **** for the way he left, I will always be grateful for the memories he has given me.
 
I can see him returning you know.

Not sure about Suarez going there though.
