The agent said he had 'no plans to leave', which could well mean he hasn't planned anything yet, but may make plans in the future if an offer comes along. It could equally be a message to clubs like Real, Barca, Juve etc that he hasn't decided anything yet, so there is still plenty of scope for them to get involved in a race for his signature.

And of course at this stage of the window absolutely nothing that is said in the press is absolute. Didn't Torres say he had no plans to leave about three weeks before he left?

1. Suarez wanting to leave has nothing to do with the rags. It's because we haven't got CL. In an interview in the Times a bit back, he said he doesn't read the papers here as he can't really understand them, but 'the lads' told him he was now getting a reasonable press (pre-biting). The quote was his own words, not his agent's. He wants Real and they will come for him.

2. He has a release clause of 40 million and Real will know this. So we are unlikely to get any more.

3. He'd be staggered if Alonso came back. This has not been mentioned by Rodgers.

4. Iago Aspas is happening. He's not sure about Luis Alberto as yet.

5. Eriksen wanted to come, but Rodgers dithered and Dortmund came in. He thinks he will now resign with Ajax.

6. He still can't tell me who 'the big one' is. He said, I'll deffo know him, and I won't be happy. He's a good player, but only when he wants to be. If we're 2 - 0 up, he'll play his socks off. If it's 0 - 0 on a cold wet day at Stoke, you won't even know he's on the pitch.

He'll let me know when he can tell me more.

We recently renewed SUarez' contract, why the **** would we have put a 40million clause in it when it was obvious when he renewed contract that he is worth more? I could understand if he was on the same contract that he was when he first joined us, but we upgraded it, so why would we have such a stupid clause

Or could it be that had Ford not be such an instant hit we'd still be in for him? That fact that Ford has settled great, will be playing a similar role to Eriksen that he's no longer a "Priority?" I'd be happy that money we had ear marked for him spent on a worldy defender!
 
Well if there is a £40mil buy out clause for Suarez then the club is being run by complete ****wits. He only signed a new deal and surely they knew he was worth more then £40mil when he signed this new contract.

RHC is that big name player from the English league or currently playing in the English league?
 
I would guess its not Adebayor or Berbatov as both to old Nasri could be a good shout did your mate say it was gonna be a big signing as in money wise or did he just say a big name? I dont know who to suggest to replace Suarez if it does go.
