Suarez as an individual is a disgrace, a racist, senseless savage and clearly selfish/self-interested judging by these latest comments (but I suppose very few footballers aren't this way); as a football player, taking out all the nonsense, we'll miss his contradictory intelligence, commitment on the pitch and obviously 30 goals.

Aspas looks a good, versatile signing, if Suarez stays its a further option/depth to our attacking options, if not then he can play as both a leading or secondary striker and out wide, he's pacy and has 12 in 33 this season, not Suarez but combined with others can hopefully get us close. Hopefully next season Sturridge continues to develop (injury pending!), Borini steps up and Coutinho just gets better and better.

We asked 100 premiership players would you consider a move to Real Madrid or Barcelona?

How many of those players said no I would never consider either of those clubs?

How many said that it would be hard to turn down those clubs?

But Suarez's agent, Pere Guardiola, has told Sky Sports News' chief news reporter, Bryan Swanson, that Suarez remains "happy" at Liverpool and has no plans to leave in this summer's transfer window.

What do you expect, a name?
Take it or leave it, up to you, but if Suarez leaves (and I suspect he will go), it won't be for the 'reported' release clause of 35 or 40mill - it'll be for more.

No, I was just wondering where you got this information from, given that you've stated it's definitive.

As I suspected it was your imagination <doh>

Whatever you say, BB <ok>
When Suarez leaves for 35 or 40mill, you can come back and tell me how wrong I was.

You posted your 'knowledge' on this on the Chelsea board & they ripped it to shreds as what you were saying made no sense mate.

He may or may not have a clause, I've no idea - I am only going on what's been written in the press & if you're being honest - neither have you, you're merely hoping that it's not the case.

Not so sure that there'll be any bargaining to do, if he decides he's off, as there's been rumours of a buyout clause in his contract since the day he signed it, in the region of £35-40m.

I think the noises coming from him & his agent all point to someone having whispered in his ear - blaming the press is ridiculous & totally transparent

In fairness the only rumours of a buyouy clause I've heard have come from hopeful bitters but knowing Liverpool it's quite possible <laugh>

Blaming the press is a joke though I agree. The lad could do with looking a bit closer to home (as could some of our fans) to see where his issues lie. Before the bite he was actually getting a lot of praise and rightly so...because he was playing well and keeping out of trouble.

Putting words into someone's mouth is pretty amateurish. The whole, "if you're honest, neither have you, you're merely hoping that it's not the case". Source? You have no ****ing clue what I do or don't know so stop guessing otherwise.

Like I said, take it or leave it.

yup, no player is begger than the club. fowler got injured, owen moved, gerrard got old, carragher retired, hyppia moved, alonso move... dalglish retired once as i recall ;) the club goes on trying to improve.

I sneakily think that if coutinho plays a central role and continues to perform at a high level then the team is better. Its better as rodgers plays a proper no 9 up top as well but suarez doesn't need to leave to make that happen.

30 goals is a big loss to any side though.... its why OPTIONS are required and why rafa got the sack, he had torres..... and n'gog.... need to learn form that rodgers, you did the same for 6 months... not good.

I've said several time (and been laughed at a few times too) but when the Torres vs Suarez debate comes up, I say I'd rather have a Fowler. Robbie would get forty goals a season in this side with the number of chances we create (and its not all from Suarez).

PS...Fowler got injured but the biggest problem to his form was McManaman leaving. Look back at the archives and the majority of his goals were assisted by Steve <ok>

Sorry mate, but I think that's naïve in the extreme. Suarez respect for Liverpool, won't stop his agent telling the 'right people' of the details of his current contract should he be asked by the likes of Madrid or Juventus.

That assumes it's in the agent's best interest to do so. I'm not 100% familiar with how football agents negotiate their fees, but I assume it will be along the lines of estate agents, i.e. roughly in line with a percentage of the sale. So Suarez' agent could probably pocket a larger fee from negotiating a £60 million deal for him to join Real or Barca than he could from revealing the clause and every club knowing exactly what they need to pay. After all, if a club knows the exact terms on which Suarez can be bought, it's difficult for the agent to justify having any sort of valuable role in making the deal go smoothly.

Based on reading the tripe you've posted on the subject i.e. this;

"Except Suarez doesn't have a 35 or 40mill buyout clause. What he does have, is a 40mill clause which lets other clubs speak to him about a potential move, but the price he goes for isn't fixed"

I think I've got a fair idea of what you 'know' mate, so yeah, I'll leave it <ok>

It can be a %age or a fixed fee, dependant on the deal in question.

However, as the old adage says '100% of **** all, is **** all'. If there's no clause & Liverpool put £80M on his head, he's going nowhere unless he behaves like a twat to force a move.

I'd say we're closer to me being right about Suarez, Reina and Skrtel leaving and Lucas being likely to leave than those who said they'll stay, in denial of everything we know about transfer windows.

I'd just like to also point out to the Brendan-blind that nobody wanted to leave last season. Not one single player. Except maybe Maxi to go back to Argentina.

Got any more envelopes, Brendan?

This girl I have been seeing has had a bad reaction to some sun cream, her face has swollen up like a red balloon. It's kept my hands full I have to admit. <ok>

**** me Zingy, that's bizarre <yikes> My youngest daughter (auburn hair) picked up a bit of sunburn on her face last Saturday and put some moisturising cream on. Her face swelled up like a balloon and went bright red <yikes>

What took you so long?

So if Reina gets an offer from Barca he'll go because Kenny's not there anymore? If Suarez gets an offer from Real he'll go because his game's suffered so much at the hands of Rodgers?

****ing genius MFG <laugh>
