That's what Gerrez said, but what does Gerrez know, no one listens to him anyway. Cheers btw, nice to know you think of me
I still fully expect Real to come back in with one more (low) offer for Luis. I believe we'll reject it regardless now though, too late to sign a quality wide replacement.
No, think the Bale transfer being dragged out so long has destroyed any chance for Real to make anything happen. Plus it looks like they're paying through the nose for him.
Really hope Rodgers doesn't fall over himself to throw him back into the first team. We're playing well without him, let him get some sub appearances and earn his spot in the team if he's willing to work. I actually trust Rodgers to do this though, he's picking players on form.
First game back is United in COC, so wouldn't mind him starting that game to help get his fitness levels back and then depending how he plays, start him or bring him on in the next league game.
This, he should have to prove himself again. It'd be wrong to stick him straight back in the first team, disrespectful to the players who have been working hard to get us where we are.
If he makes three of their defenders look silly again, and then scores straight after then he deserves to start every game.
Is he really, or just twitter chat? I really don't see him wanting to move to Arsenal...even with Bale there. He'll get plenty of game time and actually win stuff.
"Sky Sources" saying Arsenal were interested. Is a top class player, but he's not a defender/keeper/striker which is what they need. Seem to have done a Chelsea and got a bunch of crative midfielders in Wilshire, Ramsay, Rosicky, Cazorla, Arteta
Let's not forget Higuain was close, we all know what happened there. Can anyone see Arsenal forking out £42.5m then £200,000 a week for Ozil?
Don't normally agree with Souness, but he was spot on when he said all Arsenal midfielders are the same. They need someone who can tackle, put themselves about, do the donkey work and isn't afraid to get booked now and again.
MOTD were debating what happens with Studge once Luis returns. Anyone else think that's an easy one to answer? He should sit on the bench and wait for his chance to earn his place back. If he was to go straight back into the side then it would be for Aspas. Harsh on the Spaniard but we can't drop Studge, Ford or Hendo IMO. Play knasher behind Studge
