To clarify I actually prefer the first shirt with the shallow v collar, just the colour order of the second is better (more amber, amber sleeves).

it's still adidas and unfortunately still that **** cash converters, i shall not be buying it..

Although Nick Thompson has already said that if we get promoted to the PL (which we now have) the club will try to negotiate themselves out of the CC deal so that we can bring someone else in.

"Mr Thompson confirmed sponsor Cash Converters has taken the option of extending its deal for the new season."

There's nothing new in the article. He said he felt we didn't play in stripes enough and confirmed CC had taken their option up last week. He also said they'd go back to them and try to negotiate themselves out of the deal if they could find someone better. I wouldn't expect that process to be completed in less than 4 working days.

EDIT: I'm not saying they will definitely get out of it, just that it's not 100% guaranteed to be CC yet.

Based on the comments in recent articles, i think it looks like we've failed to get out of the CC deal.

That's hardly the clubs fault, you can't expect the club to reward you for loyalty, when they have no idea if you went to games or not, no system would pick up on that.

Unless you show them your ticket stubs and they can add those games to your records?

As it is, it's not rewarding loyalty, it's rewarding those that bought the most tickets from the club. If people were told this would happen they could have made sure their purchases were recorded by the club.

Obviously there is no simple way of starting a loyalty system but applying this retrospectively will cause some people to unfairly miss out.

Pay on the gate accounts for well under 10% of away ticket sales, so I suspect many saw this coming.

The club have in the past accepted tickets as proof of previous away trips, I've no idea if they'll do that again, but I really don't think many people will be affected.

I even saved all my away ticket application forms for the past five years and I don't know what the case is with normal ticket applications, but in the Premier Club, they're all recorded under the customer reference number.

Apparently next seasons kit will be Striped. Unfortunately Cash Converters have taken up the third year of their sponsorship deal.
.

Thank heavens for small mercies. No more of that awful Star Trek kit we have had to suffer this season. Back to a proper kit design.

Time to break out and dust off the 2008/09 PL seasons shirt. In sayin that i will at least consider the design of season 2013/14 home shirt.

Can we have that fusion blue away shirt back please ? and this seasons black strip can be a 3rd one just in case.
imo

The 2nd pic is better but still a ways from the 2008/09 season home shirt. imo

Amber socks should be made illegal, ****ing horrible things, they make the players look like they're wearing cheap tights. If we get Amber socks again, i'm going to fly to Herzogenaurach to slap every bastard that works for Adidas.

Now i would pay good wonga to see this ^^^ happen. :emoticon-0116-evilg

I've bought tickets for aways this season in ticket office face to face cash transaction and was told before Leicester away game at beginning of the season "Old customer numbers mean zilch now and there are no new ones to replace them"

Maybe I got the ****ty one in the ticket office who didn't understand their new system or who didn't give a a ****.

I want us to fix our kits permanently.

Home Kit - Black and Amber stripes, black shorts, black socks with Amber hoops or tops.

Away Kit - All plain black, with Amber trim.

Third Kit - Blue Shirts, White shorts, blue socks.

i am glad we are in stripes , its seems to give us a better identity and also easier to recognise as a City shirt for the overseas/new followers over the plain amber shirt

That away kit wouldn't get used much if the home kit is also nearly all black.
