We didn't "deserve" to go down Peter. We played the way we did with what we had and it wasn't much. We had NOTHING up front. The much vaunted Hernandez simply did not fire at top level. N'Doye came in late with 5 from 15 (and who is now with Trabzonspor where he is yet to score from 8 outings). Jelly played the "Lone Ranger" but got little or no support (has yet to score this season from 7 outings with West Ham). The rest weren't strikers arseholes. Sunlun got two undeserved results late on and got the 6 points needed to help banish us to the Championship. An unbelievable list of injuries to key players at the wrong time put us in a position where we could rarely play the same team twice in a row. forcing Bruce to play players out of position on a regular basis. No, we didn't 'deserve' to go down we simply didn't have the fire-power to keep us up.
