If we go into the game thinking its "only Bolton" then we'll lose. We have to go into this game as if it were a top of the table clash and take them as serious opponents.

Rather then go off track, has anyone heard any further updates regarding Diamonde ?, when he came they were suggesting he`d be out for 4-6 weeks, now three months on and still no sign of him, it seems to have gone quiet regarding him, no interviewer seems to ask about where he is at the minute, please give me some answers .... stands back and awaits the standard `he`s two weeks away` bit.

Hardly. However I am not into gloom and doom like some on here. <laugh>

You banged on about how there was no chance we'd get relegated last season.

I don't think I can ever remember you predicting anything other than a convincing City win.

No you're more into tedious & inaccurate blind optimism, regardless of what any evidence or reasoning points to.

you're quite right but it is only Bolton afterall and there's no Kevin Davies

Phil Buckingham (HDM) tweeted that he was back in training with the 1st team squad from this week.

I have to say whenever I have seen Luer on the pitch he has at least given his all, plus he actually knows where the net is having found it a couple of times. From what I have seen from Aluko and Akpom recently they couldn`t hit a cows arse with a banjo, so why not give the lad a go.
he gives his all, and for me, key he has great movement and gets in the right place right time, and can finish, time for a start even if hernadez is fit, stick them together.

Spare a thought for what is going on in Cumbria atm.

There's always something bad going on which is why this is a football forum, talking about football!

Diomande has yet to show - Akpom has gone into a typical teenage sulk and Aluko looks rusty.
Hernandez is injured and Luer way too in-experienced for a game like Leeds away.

imo, At least one New striker will arrive in January. Worse things are happening in the world atm to worry about a couple of football results.

Hull City are 4th and we are not even at the half-way stage yet.

10 days ago most were salivating at what the team were doing.
Way back in 1960 we played a 17 year old signed from local amateur football, would you have considered him to have been way too in-experienced? His name was Chris Chilton, the clubs all time leading goalscorer. Sometimes you have to give a young player the chance to prove himself. With our lack of strikers at the moment I think Luer deserved that chance.

Aluko - Not a strikers arsehole
Akpom - Not an arseholes arsehole
Luer - far from this level
Elmohamady - gone at the game
Hernandez - couldn't see him chancing an injury with the Italians looking at him so will continue to munch grapes on the sidelines feigning a limp
Diomande - signed a 3 year contract after passing a medical and has yet to kick a ball in anger (this has to be a joke of some kind).

On the strength of this we will probably play Robertson up front with Maguire behind him and win 5-0 on Saturday.
