Thanks for the gold star. I reckon the other managers will have worked out to beat newcastle you just have to attack ben arfas flank and its job done.

Just for mr nomoregeordies, Ben Arfa has started 6 games, which are as follows
Man City A
Man Utd A
Chelsea H
Fulham A
Blackburn A
Arsenal A

Yes that is 1 point from 5 games but they are 5 difficult games, as well as a 2-0 win at Blackburn which was probably his worst performance. Hardly the easiest set of games are they.

Away with your facts Cbra, nomoregeordies embarrassing himself with his yarn was just getting fun

He's done pretty well in some of those games aswell from a neutral's perspective. Couple of decent dribbles and hitting the post against Man City, assisting Demba Ba for the "penalty" against Man Utd and scoring against Arsenal. Was poor against Chelsea though IIRC, gave the ball away in needless areas and was way too weak in the tackle.

You have to question Pardew's wisdom leaving him out in the games at home where Newcastle are expected to have the ball more then the opposition and need someone to unlock the defence yet in hard games where Newcastle won't have much possession he plays him in nearly everyone. That said you've been getting the results so far this season so its hard to question him!

Agree Lucas, think he will start on Sunday against Norwich and can see him being the player who will win that game, same as he would have been against Sunderland.

Think he has just decided he needs time after the horrific injury Lucas. Many of us have questioned, particularly in games against teams lower down the table but its hard to argue with the overall result. To me he has lost a bit of excess weight lately, and looks very motivated to make his time here a success. He knows the fans love him.

Missed the line at the end saying as well as Blackburn away were we won 2-0. Also how many points have Sunderland got out of the following games last time they played each individual fixture on that list?

Come on cbra, he spends so much time following us he doesn't know what's going on at Sunderland.

It really is a depressing place though, and I'm not knocking it because of the football banter. The people always seem to be walking around as miserable as sin. Had to go there quite a bit to visit somebody in hospital and although the nurses were always bright and friendly everybody else seemed like zombies just whiling their hours away.
