I've seen quite a bit of Arsenal and I like the way they play and their style. Wenger has them playing football the way it should be played, however on our day I think we're capable of beating them and there's nothing wrong with hoping.
This, though I have got to say I remember last year thinking we didn't have a chance in hell of beating them there but won 1-0.
Very true cbra but I always fear going there cos they are capable of making any team look foolish, but as has been said youve got to have hope.
I know, the only times I can remember us being outclassed by them were in the League Cup last seasons and in the 1st half of the game last year when we drew 4-4.

Probably get shot for this, but I think Shola should start. They don't like big, physical centre forwards.
Sunderlands result was a cracker for us obviously. If we can catch Arsenal on a bad day things will be looking exciting. But regardless things are working out very nicely for us at present.
We started under the massive handicap of Bruce. O'Neill has gained 26 points from 13 league games. If he was appointed at start of the season at that points ratio. Sunderland would be in the top 4. I kid you not. This season has really been written off because of Bruce but next season under Martin might be interesting.
Or the break of the season will stop the momentum of this new managerial honeymoon. You will be improved but it certainly won tbe as prolific as this honeymoon period has been

I asked this before on our board but no-one knew, if 1 of the Manchester club's win the Europa, will that throw up an extra Euro spot? If it does, there is a chance we could both be in Europe next season.
