Loan will be good. If he shines then we get the benefit in Jan. If he fails to shine then it is not whilst in a Tigers shirt.

Cheers mucker, do try and keep realistic haha!!

Just annoying me the way loads are jumping on the lets knock brucey at every turn bandwagon.

Suprised players and managers even want to come here with the attitude of some fans, nothings ever good enough.

Must just be Hull as a city in the doldrums, i go watch the egg chasing too and the moaning and groaning in the east stand at Fc games is shocking. are we the most depressed city ever? haha!!!

Hutch there's no point coming on here talking sense. OLM hates Bruce so all the sheep follow. You only had to read the Donny threads to see that.

He most certainly can shoot. Like I said, he strikes a ball better than most of our strikers and it isn't in the stands any more often than them either. If you're looking solely at the goals column to base that on then yeah, but there's more to it than that. He's hit the bar and posts a hell of a lot since coming back from his injury and he's had a couple of goals poached on the line by other players. Also you're only counting league goals. If you remember his goal against Ipswich in the Cup, that was a 1-on-1 of the kind Fryatt has missed loads of times and even when he's scored them, he's never hit one for us right in the corner with the power that Stewart's was.

People need to look at more than just numbers.

You produce some right old pony on here but that is just fukin ridiculous. Partridge, Colema balls or Phil Brown statement.

I didn't realise so many people on here frequently watched the blunts last year. Good to hear that Quinn is the answer to all our problems based on what you've seen.
Seriously!! The same set of idiots spouting this **** will be calling him a waste of money if he hasn't scored 3 and got 8 assists in his first 10 games.
Where do you ******s come from!?

Alot of people are Slagging Bruce off for this deal on facebook, I assume they are also the same people who have been slating stewart. It'll do stewart good, He's not been the same player for a long time, It's a chance to get himself consistant games, in his preferred position. If he does well, then maybe we have a recall clause. He's done very little for us over the last few months, Good move for all concerned IMO.

I'll have to research it to check it, but because it seems to be an emergency loan I think it's by default that we can recall him any time after 28 days without having to write it in.

Left backs - Townsend, Dawson, Dudgeon
Strikers - Prozzy, Simpson, Mclean, Aluko, Fryatt when fit?

Not getting your argument, some players can be utilised elsewhere this doesnt cancel out any of the positions they can play in.

It does if they're playing there, you can't have the same player in 2 places at once.

“@Markcullen21: @A9Mac has he signed for them yea?” 3 month loan lad! #Gutted

Today has been such a sh*t day and it's not over yet!!!

Someones not a happy bunny!

Stewart has all the attributes but lacks the mentality and a football brain IMO compare him to Koren re movement etc those are the main differences between top class players and decent league 1 / 2 players

I wasn't sure about this at first, but it seems like a sensible move for both club and player. Stewart hasn't hit top form for us since the turn of the year, maybe a move away for him will help rejuvinate him and get him firing again. Fresh surroundings could do him the world of good. Although I would rather him not be sent to a league rival, it's game time for him at a decent standard and we can see if he's upto it. If he shines, we can welcome him back in January, if he doesn't then then the situation needs looking at.

People aren't jumping on every decision though are they ?

Personally I'm not too fussed as Stewart has flattered to deceive and has come nowhere near to fufilling his obvious potential as a player , Bruce has looked at him in training and in games
and made his decision

On twitter City said a 3 month loan. That only gets us to the start of December so it's an emergency loan, and that means we should have the option of recalling him on 24 hours notice after the first 28 days.

If Stewart's just gone out on loan, then I think it's a good move, he'd lost his starting place with us and gaining game time elsewhere can only help him.

If, as Sky are reporting, we've written him off and it's a loan with a view to a permanent, then I think we may have given up on him too soon.

Surely it's too early to say because it's dependent on a) how much we're getting, and b) who we could be signing later on?

To be honest unless we are doing late business doesn't look like any more coming in today. Could be waiting for the emergency loan window maybe??

As the club are saying 3 months rather than January I doubt it's with a view to a permanent as he has to come back at the start of December. Surely if it was a view to a permanent we'd have done the deal right through to January so that his "new club" didn't lose him over the busy Xmas period?

If ISPLT likes anyone at the club it's like a kiss of death for them. I glad you don't rate Proswitch or Bruce.

There's probably a Ku De Ta going on somewhere.

You may lose your deposit in the run off for new mod.

That's an utterly ridiculous post. You're basically saying you don't give a **** about watching the game to see a player's strenghts, all that counts is the numbers. Why bother going to games?

If having good shots doesn't prove that you can shoot, what does?

That's ridiculous, there's no point having all these skills and strengths if they don't help the team.

Would you rather watch someone strike the ball well and miss every time or someone that can do their job?

Stewart is there to provide assists and score goals, I'm not calling into question his technique, but his record is poor regardless of how well he hits the ball.

He was a passenger for most of the games he played last season, if you enjoyed watching his 'strengths' then fair enough, I'd rather we had someone that was effective as well as technically gifted.
