Honestly, Bruce could be handed a lifetime contract, Ashley could come out and say he's never selling, and people would still believe it was going to happen.

There.
Is.
No.
Takeover.

MBS is going to talk about global financial investments, infrastructure, etc. He's not going to sing Blaydon ****ing Races.

We're saddled with Bruce who is apparently instrumental in bringing the astounding Graeme "Who?" Jones to the the club. The board have effectively backed Bruce, because he's said "I don't need players, but gizza coach please", meaning out outlay is about £200k with the promise of PL safety. It's ****ing utter and complete madness, endlessly on repeat. The club is fundamentally bad for our health.

The situation remains the same stay up and it'll go through in the summer

Highlight of this mornings presser, without doubt - to SB, can you see a result coming? “I’ve seen little bits, we got into some good areas and crossed it the other night. Confidence is a little bit low of course."

No comment necessary, really. Close second was this doozy:

Sean Longstaff isn't injured, and didn't play at Villa over "selection reasons... we've got a lot of people back right and it was his turn to miss out."

Oh, another piece of pure gold - '"The one thing I never do is shy away" he says, during a press conference where written media are banned.

WOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow

We crossed the ball? Like that's some kind of unknown?

It is never anyone's turn to "miss out" - you play the strongest line up for the game, not try and keep everyone happy by rotating.

Has Bruce fielded the same team twice in a row since arriving?

Ha ha, it's like captains picking ****ing teams at school and leaving the fattest/****test till last ! I honestly think he just has players faces on a ****ing dartboard and he sits in his office blindfolded and chucks 11 ****ing darts at the board !

I mean how else are you meant to decide on who can't play? Assuming that they have a valid ****ing visa in place of course !! <doh>

Sorry DeAndre, the person who was meant to be sorting your visa is on furlough at the minute!
