    But if we are chasing another player and we need to ease the wages bill and we can shift the ****e, maybe the only option is to sell an asset to replace with an asset.

    I cant see anyone taking Nuggsy, McCartney, Killgallon etc anytime soon so to free up a berth, Steed may well have been sacrificied by the looks of it here. Thats a shame but this is football.

    I am genuinely disappointed to see Steed go personally. I just love players blessed with such passion, heart and above all, incredible skill.

    Most skilful player over the by a country mile. Think the ball is velcroed to his boot at times.

    Depends what has been offered for him if its true of course

    he has a max of 2 seasons in him and thats not playing a full 90 mins, better to sell now for something than nowt in 2 years.

    To my mind Steed is good at controlling a ball, shielding it and turning with it (always left to right). He then keeps control of it, runs 10 yards and spins (left to right). After 70 minutes of this he is taken off so he can have a tab.

    I am gutted about this. He still had a season left in him imo but I can understand the wages thing, and if we can free up some funds for one or two more to come in then you can hardly blame them. But for me one of our most consistant players last couple of seasons and I wish him all the best!! He will be chuffed on his journey over to france all the duty free tabs he will be able to pick up.

    I always made my opinion clear on him and zenden, However I wish him all the best as he would always put the graft in and he was sometimes our best defender.

    They're on big wages, which limits them. Ringo is on 40k (absurd) Nos 20k and MK probs about 15k.

    According to alot of sites Steeeeed is finally parting company with us!

    Im sure alot of fans will be down about this buts lets be honest!
    Hes over 30, cant play over 60mins and couldnt score in a brothel. Lets give a top class Left winger them type of wages insead! Thanks Steed we love you but its time to move on!!!!
