But not one of them banners says Hull City AFC or Hull City anywhere. It wouldn't surprise me that Allam has banned all merchandise from having hull city on it. We saw the ****ty tops someone posted a thread about the other day with just a picture of a tiger on.

I must say it certainly is starting to p1ss me off now.

COME ON YOU HULL CITY!

The scarf on Mr Larkin has the Hull City AFC badge on it <cool>

It doesn't say Hull City on it, but the club badge is recognisable to most people. And I'm pretty sure that scarf will have our name on it.

Love Larkin's cape <laugh>

Surprisingly the lack of name on that banner doesn't bother me too much because it's not forcing tigers on us either and it is a really good design with the Boothferry to Wembley thing. It's relatable to the fans which most of the club's communications aren't.

Might just be me but I've never referred to the team as the tigers its always been Hull City or City.

Newcastle's new tag line is "One City, One Club, One Toon".

If only they knew.

Well I have got a flag on the car and a Wembley 2014 FA Cup scarf and they both have Hull City on them. Wouldn't of bought them if they hadn't. From the club shop in Prinny Quay.

All the sellers around town have the gear as Hull City. Not been to the club shop for ages.

ULL - CITY - TIGERS. It is the same club regardless of what you chant.

my grandad always referred to city as "the tigers" if it was good enough for him , then it sure as hell is good enough for me ;)
Whereas my grandad never called them "the tigers".If it wasn't good enough for him.......It's each to their own obviously and I have no problems with either but what gets my back up are the attempts to impose one and airbrush out the other like some Stalinist era politburo photo.

I have an official flag.I'm looking at it now it says 'THE FA CUP FINAL 2014' on it, It has the club badge with 'THE TIGERS' at the bottom oh and it 'as 'HULL CITY A.F.C' at the top.

So there goes that silly idea.

When my dad first started to take me in the 60s, it was always "let's go see The Tigers", never "let's go see City".

My dad would say, "get your coat, hat and scarf, let's go cheer on them reds"
