In a nutshell. Tigerscave never posts on here unless we've just lost or posts negative ****. He's a WUm but so many buy into it. He's a **** on a wind up.
How is a population of 280,000 compared to Hull's 251,000 (2014 census) small, relatively, to Hull? What is described as the metropolitan area of Brighton is far more than Hull's. More money around there as well. BTW, Brighton has more restaurants per head of population than anywhere outside London.
I can't honestly say I've noticed him, I don't generally pay attention to the names, I try to just respond to the post, but there does seem to be a trend where if someone tries to create a positive discussion, it gets disrupted and filled with reasons why it can't happen, rather than looking to improve things.
Hull has a much bigger hinterland. Close to around a million people, with no competition for top flight football if we can get up and stay up.
Daughter is at Uni in Brighton. Stayed down there last year. Re restaurants you aint kidding. Starters cost more than our main meals. Also never seen so many homeless people in one area and that includes London. That or I missed a scooter rally and they where just dossing for the night
It was amongst a bundle of useless trivia. I think it was/is the European vegetarian capital, and a hot bed for people squatting...in empty houses...nah, that still reads wrong...and connected.
Manchester is bad for homeless people, I was staggered at the amount of people sleeping in doorways and begging.
We've got plenty in Hull, when i worked in Cambridge they did too. Think if i was going to be homeless I'd go down to Devon and be homeless there
I was in Manchester a few weeks ago. I was absolutely gob smacked. No exaggeration must have been 50 or 60 just on the main drag into Piccadilly gardens area. Virtually every doorway had someone asleep in it. There was even one woman in a sleeping bag laid asleep horizontally across the pavement with Saturday shoppers stepping around her. Not sure the cause of it but something has gone badly wrong in manc land
That's our problem though. They're customers there for the taking and we haven't done anything to attract them. Yes they're ****s for not supporting their local team but they obviously need to be convinced and if City wanted their money they'd put some effort into doing that.
Agree 100% however it would be helpful if the current trustees of the club(thats a laugh in itself) tried to keep what they have already..I actually think they are taking advice from cab drivers as nowt else makes sense
How?? Leeds Pool Man U fans who are from Hull are pretty entrenched. Not there for the taking. Only sustained PL success will entice them.
