The saddest thing about Alzheimer’s is that it goes on for, in some cases, many years. People become defined by the disease, it’s all they are remembered for. Hopefully Stan will be remembered for who he was for the vast majority of his life.
one of my neighbours is suffering from this awful disease, she is only 59. I can't imagine what her poor husband is going through at the moment. Just so sad
