Old fat bastards call it wethers.Who in ****ting crikey calls it Wethers? I've never heard it abbreviated to anything other than Spoons.
Right then. It's my stag do next weekend and my brother, the master organiser that he is, has got us a place in Vauxhall for the weekend.
Speaking of gay bars...I've just been by Albion hotel down Caroline st area and it's painted bright pink!!!That was my first thought!![]()
If you fancy a change from downing pints then I've had a few pleasant evenings in the London Cocktail Club in Oxford Circus. They do have them right across London though
They are pretty much as described on their website "A serious drinkers cocktail bar...Don’t expect the usual contemporary chic cocktail bar, what you can expect is dark, down and dirty…"
We've started there during happy hour though, which is 4.30 - 7 Tuesday to Sat, it might be pricey later on

I wouldn't go out of your way, but if your passing at the right time it's a good atmosphere when I've been inSounds good, will check it out.

OiKeep your knob in your trousers and look out for pickpockets.
I'm going on an Army reunion in September in London.
We're kicking off ( hopefully not literally) in the The Lord Moon of the Mall near Trafalgar Square.
It's a Wether's and there's 25 - 30 of us meeting up. My mate ,who has done the recce, reckons they're fine with large groups of rowdy blokes.
A bit like Frankies Vauxhall Tavern then.
