£832k a year is a lot of money, whoever you are and we're not going to pay it to a player who's not going to play, he'll be gone in two weeks.
Even you should know that many earn far more for doing alot less. Fryatt needs to be moved on next as his wage i would guess is in the top ten.
As for Mclean, Yes if he can get a move then he will go but i would rather have him here doing what he does than Fryatt who simply no longer gives a toss.
If you had been at Orient then may just understand.
Can a free be brought in anytime or is there a window for that too? Sorry if it's already been mentioned.

Free transfers can be registered any time providing there's a space in the squad. It depends how many we've named, if we named 24 we can register one more player. If we registered 25 then we've no space left.
Graham was much, much better against Man City than he was at Chelsea. No complaints about his work rate in the last game.
You can't send anyone on a season long loan, it's 93 days max out of a transfer window. And no if they are registered they still will be when they return from their emergency loan.
The spots have to be vacant when the transfer window shuts.
Any player out of contract when the window shuts is a free agent. Free agents can be signed anytime. Sadly most of them are crap and wont impove us.
