I thought he just got hurt at Leicester and struggled to recover, to be honest. He was doing well when he got back up to speed, but then had to play every game.
Reportedly missing Alkmaar and Bmouth. I guess it was inevitable he'd pick up an injury eventually. I think that's only Pedro Porro unscathed this season out of the entire outfield squad and two goalkeepers which is just nuts He's injured at a time when attackers are returning and in droves and tbh badly needs to just lie on a beach for a week, so maybe this is a blessing in disguise.
The real question is whether he's been playing through an injury or not Somebody out there is surely poring over clips to see if he's limping coming off the pitch in recent weeks or something like that
Solanke, Mickey Van and Cuti all in today's training gallery https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/ne...c-solanke-all-train-ahead-of-az-alkmaar-trip/
There is still the possibility of reaching the EL final and then having to forfeit due to so many injuries that Spurs cannot make a senior team sheet. < all to play for >
What are they doing in training to cause so many muscle injuries? This is more than just bad luck now, something somewhere is causing these issues.
That's been clear for a while. The unscientific approach is to blame 'luck'. The scientific approach is to first rule out all other possibilities. I've also seen rumours this week that Richarlison has flown out an expert from Brazil to consult about his latest setback as a second opinion. It does seem that something somewhere is very broken, and the players don't trust it anymore.
Players getting second opinions from their national team or previous club physios is not as uncommon as people make it out to be Vinicius Jr paid out of his own pocket to fly Santos' physio to Spain while Lionel Messi had the Argentine national team's physio live in his house for a time when he was at Barca, yet there was no suggestion that either Los Ladrones or Barca had hopelessly inept medical/physio teams
This is getting like groundhog day , seeing reports that Kulusevski's injury is worse than first thought , wonder how good the Swedish physio team is ?
I've read reports that Maddison does not need an operation, physio and rest , we've seen this before from our medical team ,2 months into his 3 month recovery he has to have an operation
