So landmarks are out then.
I do have an idea, which looks good in my head, but may look dire once made into a banner. basic premise is.
Left: Jumbotron/stand facing right with early trophies listed ((year, score/scorers (if its a final) manager, points (for the league)) maybe 5-6 of them (opposite of what you have now)
Middle: Logo/couple of players and or managers
Right: Jumbotron/stand facing left with later trophies listed ((year, score/scorers (if its a final) manager, points (for the league)) maybe 5-6 of them (so basically the same as you have now)
With the jumbotron i could cut the whole lot out, Video screen/sponsors and make that a bigger screen, so will be able to fit more in.
I will see what i can do, i dont really want to get too fidley with it though, The Sunderland one took me about 30 minutes, it just seemed to come together (and looks better than what it looks like on the forums, but you live and learn), the Newcastle one took me 8 hours of fiddling about, and only got 3 votes so was a bit disheartining.
I will see what i can come up with anyway over the weekend.

How about those two kit launch pictures of the players coming out of the tunnel in the home and away kits?
I'm sure there's a better quality version on the Spurs site and you could reverse one so they're both coming out in the middle.
or wwe could have this in the middle of one of the current ones.

Well the badges are on the scoreboards anyway, just you cant see them very good, so i put new ones in, personally and no offence, I hate the jumpbotron on the banner full stop, but others said they wanted the jumbotron and with something on it, so only aiming to please (I know its impossible to please everyone though), and like i said its a long way from being finished, the middle picture i will probably scrap (it was just for a filler) the stripes i would like to keep but i may rework them a bit, nd the jumbotrons will have all your past trophies on, I just put 2 on there to show what I had in mind.
But lets say i done a black and white/sepia banner, which players/managers would "have" to be in it, say a max of 6, but preferably less.

I'm a big fan of these ideas.
Just so that people can have another frame of reference, here's the one that Newcastle have added:
It looks very good on it's own, but I think that the border and text get in the way a little too much when it's actually viewed in use.
A hard balance to strike, I think.

Yeah, it's very simple, but that's probably why it works so well.

Bill Nicholson goes without saying, but after that it's up for debate, I think.
Hoddle would probably be my suggestion for a past player (and manager, of course), but there's quite a list to choose from.
Shearer's a very easy pick for the Geordies.
As for current players, I'd say that King has to be there and that the picture from SF's earlier post probably has our next 3 best choices, though Gallas and Adebayor might be controversial outsiders!

Nicholson and one of either Hoddle or Greaves. I'm tempted to say Hoddle as Nicholson and Greaves overlap in terms of time period.

Would it be possible to put together a cropped picture of the kit launch picture with another one from the same set, but with different players, preferably King being one of them?
Stick them either side of the golden cockerel, with black and white photos of Bill Nich and either Hoddle or possibly Perryman lifting a trophy on the sides?

A suggestion I have, is get rid of the Jumbotrons, as in post 104, keep the pic of Bill Nich and Chiv on the left, keep the 91 Cup final group shot on the right, and find a 84 Uefa cup group shot, Stevie P, Ossie, Ricky etc, then from right to left it reads in chronological order. I did think about the recent CC, not sure about having Berbs and Keanes mercenary mugs on show, dunno, what say you guys?
