Maybe we could have one of David Pleat's pearls of wisdom.. Like when he told Kanoute there were more Spurs fans than people in Mali - population 14.5mill.

David Pleatisms

For such a small man Maradona gets great elevation on his balls."

"Our central defenders, Doherty and Anthony Gardner, were fantastic and I told them that when they go to bed tonight they should think of each other."

"A game is not won until it is lost."

"Eighty per cent of teams who score first in matches go on to win them. But they may draw some. Or occasionally lose....."

"Had we not got that second goal, I think the score might have been different. I’m not sure."

"If there are any managers out there with a bottomless pit, I'm sure that they would be interested in these two Russians."

Glen had his moments too:

“Michael Owen is a goalscorer - not a natural born one, not yet, that takes time”

“I never heard a minute's silence like that.”

“Look at Jesus. He was a normal run of the mill sort of guy who had a genuine gift.”

We threw caution to the wind and came back from the dead. Well, it is Easter Monday.”

“Steven Carr has hit a small blimp”

Harry of course makes a living quoting himself:

"Dani is so good-looking I don't know whether to play him or f*ck him"

"By the look of him he [Ian Dowie] must have headed a lot of balls"

"Even when they had Moore, Hurst and Peters, West Ham's average finish was about 17th. It just shows how crap the other 8 of us were"

"Where are we in relation to Europe? Not far from Dover"

"I sorted out the team formation last night lying in bed with the wife. When your husband's as ugly as me, you'd only want to talk football in bed"

“The sad part is that the ones who do well want to go, but you cannot move the ones who are useless,”

could not leave out the Guvnor himself Brian Clough:

“They say Rome wasn't built in a day, but I wasn't on that particular job.”
“When I go, God's going to have to give up his favourite chair.”
"Walk on water? I know most people out there will be saying that instead of walking on it, I should have taken more of it with my drinks. They are absolutely right."
"The ugliest player I ever signed was Kenny Burns."
“I've decided to pick my moment to retire very carefully - in about 200 years time.”
"I only ever hit Roy [Keane] the once. He got up so I couldn't have hit him very hard"
"I like my women to be feminine, not sliding into tackles and covered in mud."
"That Seaman is a handsome young man but he spends too much time looking in his mirror rather than at the ball. You can't keep goal with hair like that"
"If I had an argument with a player we would sit down for twenty minutes, talk about it and then decide I was right”
"I wouldn't say I was the best manager in the business. But I was in the top one"
"If God had wanted us to play football in the clouds, he'd have put grass up there"
“No cheating bastards will I talk to; I will not talk to any cheating bastards!”

Perhaps if you used the original picture of Bill, without the picture of him as a player imposed in the background and just moved it higher it could work, Ensil?
We'd lose the THFC bit in the background, unfortunately, but it might be worth it.

Great work, by the way.

Looks good to me guys, favourite players could spark a row with only a few faces possible, and results is a bit childish really...I suppose! <whistle> :D
