As a muslim i find there are 2 types of people in ramadhan
1 those who are generally practicing and see ramadhan as a bonus month, so yes they do get some of the symptoms you describe but love it overall
2 those who put their usual life on hold for 29//30 days which didnt involve practising bar the odd friday prayer here and there. they use the month to sleep during the day and pig out at night all the time grumbling how hard muslim life is
