Ah, Chinese owners. Take note Gao apologists. I can't think of any successful Chinese owners in the game currently. It was a fad for them a few years ago, but now they all seem to have lost interest.
It was because the Chinese government changed the rules on taking money out of the country so it no longer was attractive to the Chinese owners

Sure. Companies/individuals are allowed to take money out of China if they are willing to play by the rules. Everything now has to be above aboard and recorded. This is to stop corruption. It's not like the Chinese government is flat out refusing to let their citizens invest/do business abroad.

Bugger off Wolfsburg. That wouldn't be good.
Completely agree. I know his critics/doubters will point to the Downs signing and Still's appointment but not every signing will work out and Scienza and Jander were his signings too. Plus Tonda was brought in with the view to succeed Still and the early signs are extremely positive there.

Tonda, Scienza, Jander, Fellows, Azaz, (to a lesser extent Roerslev, Quarshie and Jelert) - I mean, it's a big net positive, and it was co-ordinated recruitment.

Still too early to know how good or bad Spors is. But it would be bad in that we need stability.

Yeah the stability thing is the biggest issue for me. Having high turnover in multiple areas of the club is never good.

Granted, they're Bundesliga and he's German ... but are Wolfsburg that big a draw over us? If we were PL I would say no. I also suspect we are able to pay more.

I was more worried by the earlier link with Juventus (at least, I think it was Juventus?)

They’re not, no. It’s the equivalent of Leicester saying they’re interested, or me saying I’m interested in Margot Robbie “but no contact has been made yet”.
