Bring back Claude, I say. At least he got us 8th place and could grind out results …. :emoticon-0112-wonde
Oh yes - the fans wanted him out because a lot of them wanted “more exciting football”.
Well - they got it.
The Chelsea game was exciting.
The Liverpool games were exciting
The City games were exciting …..

What are you expecting? Champions League football? With virtually no money?
We’re a mid/lower table club with mid/lower table players (apart from JWP) ……
Unless we can unearth some more jewels like Virgil, Sadio, etc ……

I just wish some fans would get real. Who would you pick as manager then, RS? Big Sam? Mourinho? :emoticon-0114-dull:
I have said none of the utter ****e you have spewed above. Stop attributing statements l have never ****ing made. Whatever your ****wit issues are, take them elsewhere.

Touched a nerve there, I reckon ….. :emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm
****ing right you have. I appreciate different opinions, but to somehow attach the ****wit comments to my statement just because l enjoyed yesterday's game more that the last couple of months **** that Ralph has overseen.

All I did was ask you who you’d prefer as manager when Ralph goes ….. No need to lose your rag, sunshine …..

Don't be so condescending. And no, you did not ask that question. You attributed opinions to me that are false and unfounded.
I’d suggest you re-read my post where I attributed nothing to you, just asked you who you’d have as manager - but, you know what? I can’t be arsed to keep feeding you something to get more bent out of shape about ……..

So because English women's football is a total joke, but I do like the idea of women's football, I'm thinking of becoming a fan of the Minnesota Aurora for multiple reasons: they have a cool name, they have a beautiful kit, I'm a Vikings fan and have been to Minnesota once (and hopefully again soon), also apparently they're a true community owned club and US women's soccer actually has a salary cap, so it's not the elitist money driven joke where 90% of the teams are just making up the numbers

How many popping over to St Mary’s today for Saints first game in the Championship?

Looks like about half of St Mary’s is open and only two blocks left, suggests there could be an attendance of 12-14k?

To correct myself half of Itchen was open, so probably 2.5k not bad for a day where both teams are playing though.

Saints have not been too bad (bar a lack of cutting edge which feels familiar), despite being down 2-0 at the mo. Refereeing has been absolutely godawful though, wrong calls on throw ins, goal kicks and corners, two penalties been given against and their second goal was controlled with the arm, the referee wasn’t looking at play at the time.

Yes she made EPL referees looked good though.

Despite the soft penalty, Charlton deserved to be ahead at the half. Frantic start to second half, we nearly equalised and then conceded at the other end. Saints passing was atrocious - far too easy to intercept - but maybe that’s just nerves from first game at this level. They certainly grew in confidence as the second half went on and started to play the ball over the top to great effect. Wilkinson is a real asset up front as was Beth Lumsden when she replaced her. My WOTM though was Milly Mott who was immense at right back.

I went to this game. Saints really should have won after a poor first half, in which Lewes should have been further ahead than they were. Saints had a couple of massive late chances that they should have put away.
