Quite good defensive shape for most of the game. Disappointed that we were so loose early in the second half giving them too much space. Stupid penalty too.

Not embarrassing just we need to show as much fight other weeks and that's what I don't have confidence in.

We kept it under 5, which was my pre-match hope.
Every game we have a wobble, right on halftime that invariably leads to us conceding and changing the whole complexion of the game.
We did really well, first half, and the plan was working, but you just can’t keep De Bruyne quiet and Haaland from scoring.
Biggest concern for me is Lavia’s injury.

So what if we had a good first half? That makes absolutely no difference at all

At least I saw them put in a shift. I can stomach losing if we give it a good go. It's the Leeds and West Ham games that disappoint me.

If you want to find negatives you will. Do go ahead depressed yourself!

Don’t let your hate for a man blind you. Both as inept. Hope you enjoyed the game today from the ground breezy

I don't hate Jones and that isn't a relevant factor to see how inept he was at his job.. Selles has us playing much better, he is by no means the answer to all our problems but he has at least identified how to get points with the massively unconfident team.

Really? How do? We were dirt today and hoped we could shut city out. Clueless once behind.

Jones was ****, no defending that

I feel like we have a exciting front 4 in Mara, Sueleman, Alcaraz and Edozie next year in the championship.

Doyle, Ballard to supplement that too.

We won't be keeping them. They'll force a move and SR will be looking to cash in as much as possible

'' Saints have also signed striker Paul Onuachu, 28, from Genk until 2026 ''

Really ? I would never have guessed .... All the pressure pre-window closure about how a striker is needed, so when one eventually arrives. he hardly gets a look in.
I really dont get it, why cant this guy get any sort of a chance. Could of alreandy have helped the cause, and although the odds are stacking up against us, he still might be able to have a say . ?

I guess this is the problem with going for a desperate signing in January, rather than a more considered one in the summer. We're not alone in missing a striker, even Chelsea after £500m don't really have one that scores football goals.

I can understand why he didn't play today, though would have liked to have seen more of him in the games where we have possession but can't break down a team.
