Good reading for us..only a few went for a Forest win. Show the typical humour of despairing football fans. However, Adkins will not let the team treat this as anything over than a challenge. Mustn't let in early sloppy goals and give them hope. Any team can beat any team on their day (not Barcelona obviously), so we must start right.

Yes, I enjoyed that little read too. What's happened to David McGoldrick, for goodness sake..? What's happened to Forest..? Has the McClaren [I play the Dutch way] technique got to them..?

Something's odd too. Normally, I'm very patient about waiting for upcoming Saints games, but I can't wait for this one.

Ah, penny's finally dropped. It's been two weeks. <doh>
 
Just to add, I think we'll win, but I think Notts Forest won't make it easy, because we've shown what we can do now. Some teams are going to start camping, instead of making a game of it. So, no scores from me.
 
I remember going to this fixture the season we got relegated. I think we lost 2-0, and all of us were chanting about wanting to see us play 4-4-2 <laugh> I even remember seeing some of our fans burn their season tickets <yikes>
 
Going to say 4-1, with Lambert scoring a hat-trick...one with his head, one slotted, and a third on a penalty after a frustrated Forest defender climbs all over him.
 
My first game this season after an ankle op over the summer. A Saints win and some good entertaining football would be the perfect welcome back. 3-1 Saints for me. Lambert, Connolly, Lallana.
 
2-1 saints with Cork and Rickie getting our goals. I think Martin has looked good whenever I have seen him play (I know others disagree) and could start.
 
Five players are injury concerns for Nottingham Forest ahead of tomorrow's Championship date with Southampton at St. Mary's Stadium (kick-off 3pm).

Paul Anderson, George Boateng, Marcus Tudgay, Guy Moussi and Robbie Findley are battling to be fit to figure in the game on the south coast.

Anderson had hoped to return to action this weekend after a spell on the sidelines with a groin injury but picked up a rib injury in training in midweek.

He had similar problem in the closing stages of last season and is in some discomfort after taking a blow in the same area.

Tudgay dislocated a finger in training, while Boateng has been receiving treatment for an ankle injury.

Moussi, who has yet to figure this season due to calf injury, and Findley are nursing what manager Steve McClaren described as "little knocks that may be a problem for tomorrow."
 
Was at the nottingham forest vs notts county game a while back (good game) and Forest did really show much apart from a few fast strikers and a good passer (but slow) in Greening. Im going with 3-1 Saints COYR
