I'm reading on twitter now, that Grabban doesn't even have a wife![]()

The club never said anything when the Tierney/Morison rumours surfaced, and that rumour seemed a lot stronger than this one. I'm struggling to think of any case of a club commenting on the private affairs of players, unless it's a family bereavement.

I'm sorry, but to me this is just naive in the extreme if you honestly, truthfully believe that. Ryan Bennett isn't going to start games and I'm sure he'd like to be a first team regular so should we shift him as well? .

Ryan Bennett isn't going to start games and I'm sure he'd like to be a first team regular so should we shift him as well? Don't know how many times I need to say this but it's a squad game these days, there is no such thing as a first XI that is going to start all season - or even the majority of games - it just doesn't work like that any more. Part of the skills of being a successful managemer these days is good squad management, keeping players who aren't playing regularly happy so they are up for it when you need them to. Just because he's not going to start every match doesn't mean he wouldn't have had a big part to play over the course of a 38 game season - you don't go from being a 15 goal, player of the season who was the heartbeat of our success last year to "fringe player" who would just be making up the numbers overnight, not at the age of 28 when you should be coming into your prime unless something really has gone wrong that we don't know about - can anyone think of another example of a club selling their player of the season at the peak of his powers in such fashion, particularly during such a vital season in the club's history?
Why would we applaud the club for weakening our squad based on all the information we have publically available to us? How can it be a good thing if there really isn't more to it and there isn't some kind of personality clash going on? Two days on and it still makes no sense to me at all. I also think the silence from the club since Monday has been deafening, it's all just bizarre.
But having been settled here, last year's POTS and promotion achieved, why then be so keen to drop down a division, having contributed so much to what they all want(ed) to be a part of.In fact your post seems to assume that it was the club who pushed the move through. It wasn't, BJ was informed of the interest and wanted to pursue it. Norwich didn't stand in his way. Its not a difficult situation to understand
It's not hard to figure out, he's not starting games, Mulumbu and Olson both to return (and almost certain to start), where would BJ fit in? It's not a conspiracy theory, its a logical conclusion. I think people want to imply complications that they have absolutely no evidence to support. He wants to play football, good on him, I for one wish him lots of luck. But having been settled here, last year's POTS and promotion achieved, why then be so keen to drop down a division, having contributed so much to what they all want(ed) to be a part of.
If Alex Neil had come out and said along the lines of 'Bradley wanted first team football and we couldn't guarantee him that' it would at least make some sense. As it is, I agree with TMC, there's something very messy about the whole affair - not as straightforward as you're trying to make it sound, anyway.

He doesn't need to say it, he'd already done it.As far as I´m aware there has been no interview with either AN or McNally since the window closed, so there´s time for him yet to easily do so.

With Grabban we had 'we're not selling anyone the manager wants or for less than we want for them"
With Johnson it's "a bid came in, we chatted with Bradley and he wanted to go, so we let him".
