True but the story was that Tierney was injured not stormed out or for petulance f the highest order! Grabban storming out of a hotel and buggering off was bound to get out, especially if he'd been confirmed on the bench prior to KO.
It was just a thought to help the lad if it were true. If he stormed off after finding out his Mrs had been boffing and BJ'ing BJ. Then I would think he would get a more sympathetic response.
Lets face it some of our players get booed for very little, so his reception after storming out to try and force a move is not likely to be pleasant!

    Bah!

I'd imagine he would say that after what she got up to with BJ!

    Bah!

In the absence of anything else, I do think this whole situation is completely bizarre, but the idea that it is Bradders sleeping with Grabban's better half sounds a lot like people leaping to conclusions without any evidence whatsoever. Too convenient.

Besides, if that were true, why would Grabban storm out of a hotel room when he heard the squad announced and off the back of two bids from Bournemouth? Surely it's more likely to result in a punch-up in training?

Also, if Grabban were to put in a transfer request and try to force a way out as a result, why would that mean we would sell BJ? I kind of see what's in it for him - four year contract takes him to 32, they've probably just about matched the wages we pay him and they'll increase more if he gets Derby promoted. But why would we sell?

Thats not, clearly, what I've said. Bennett has never been a first choice, but is happy to learn his craft and push for a start. BJ has done his time, wanted to play first team football and the club has allowed him to move on and do so. Surely you can see the difference?

In fact your post seems to assume that it was the club who pushed the move through. It wasn't, BJ was informed of the interest and wanted to pursue it. Norwich didn't stand in his way. Its not a difficult situation to understand

But having been settled here, last year's POTS and promotion achieved, why then be so keen to drop down a division, having contributed so much to what they all want(ed) to be a part of.
If Alex Neil had come out and said along the lines of 'Bradley wanted first team football and we couldn't guarantee him that' it would at least make some sense. As it is, I agree with TMC, there's something very messy about the whole affair - not as straightforward as you're trying to make it sound, anyway.

It's not hard to figure out, he's not starting games, Mulumbu and Olson both to return (and almost certain to start), where would BJ fit in? It's not a conspiracy theory, its a logical conclusion. I think people want to imply complications that they have absolutely no evidence to support. He wants to play football, good on him, I for one wish him lots of luck.
Lastly don't forget, everybody has a price, £7.5 is a very very good price for a midfielder with his stats.

    It just seems odd.

With Grabban we had 'we're not selling anyone the manager wants or for less than we want for them"

With Johnson it's "a bid came in, we chatted with Bradley and he wanted to go, so we let him".

Why Johnson wanted to go is one question, why the management accepted such a late bid and had to scramble for a late loan to cover it, is a second.

As far as I´m aware there has been no interview with either AN or McNally since the window closed, so there´s time for him yet to easily do so.

Of course it's odd, and I really don't understand how anyone can think it's such a clear cut thing. It's no big conspiracy theory project, it just quite clearly doesn't make any sense to a lot of us, and nothing anybody has said so far has convinced me in any way.

He doesn't need to say it, he'd already done it.

Think it's because it was so out of the blue and came out of nowhere which makes it bizarre, there were no rumours or talk about this until the last minutes that makes it a bit odd and it's understandable so many are asking why. I do think something happened behind closed doors, but as to what I guess we'll never know.

But he's gone now, nothing we can do but get behind the current team.

The price agreed is apparently less than £6m. The only way it's going to get near £7m is if Derby get promoted. <ok>

Funnily, I saw E Bennett has tweeted that Bradders will always be the "Norfolk Pirlo". Friendly banter between mates or a loaded comment suggesting that there's a split in the camp and Bradders didn't necessarily want to leave? Who knows.

Well, considering how popular BJ was after his storming season last year, it's only natural he would have been a fans favourite - hence the POTS votes. Equally understandable, therefore, that all those disgruntled / bewildered people in question would like some credible answers - it's a human trait.

Elliott and Johnson were definitely firm friends at the club. I'm sure its friendly. There was a picture mocked up online of Johnson superimposed on Pirlo drinking wine.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding but these two statements don't seem to me to be in any way contradictory? Grabban's bid didn't reflect the value AN put on him. Bradley's did.
