MON not interested
It always amazes me how these rumours get going so quickly...
to clarify for everyone who is about six years out of date, o neill's wife HAD lymphoma, so he resigned from celtic to look after her. she recovered, and he managed villa for four years. his wife is not sick. he has said so himself recently that he wants to get back into management. it might not be with us, but his wife will have nowt to do with it.
that'll do me but that's what they are, rumours. Believe nowt til it happens mate
It could be surprisingly difficult to secure a good manager. As sad as it is, most managers just want good money and cushy managerial jobs which aren't too difficult. They aren't interested in big challenges which could put their reputations at risk if they don't pull it off.
I actually cannot recall any team who have sacked their manager whilst in the 'danger zone' and appointed one of the best managers available, so if you guys pull it off it'll be a first.

Ahem, didn't Newcastle bring in Joe Kinnear closely followed by Ian Dowie? I rest my case.
