We are all "united" in wanting the best for Leeds United FC.
As with any business and any football club, there are many ways of doing that and many opinions on what is the best way forward.
LUST are representatives of a large number of fans, and they may say something at times that an element of their membership don't agree with. What should we expect from a group that covers 7500 people?
No-one is likely to agree with every little thing they do (I certainly don't, and there are elements ofthe vision statement I don't like), but they have got off their backsides and actually done something. They have mobilised instead of doing nothing, they have many high level people on their side, and they have applied pressure on Bates, and introduced the possibility of new owners.
Whether it eventually fails is not something that they should be ridiculed for. They should be applauded for having done what they have done, being a catalyst for eventual change and bringing realistic hope.
To me, anyone against LUST is against change at LUFC, or just jealous, or is pro-Bates, picking up on pedantic little issues instead of seeing the possibilities and doors they have opened on our behalf. The anti-LUST people are actively pitting themselves against the largest group of LUFC supporters, showing their own disunity while claiming the same.
Exactly.
