... agreed ... Quentin doesn't get that; firstly because he's a Spurs fan (my point) and secondly because he's Quentin ... and rather a thick cnut <laugh>

  2. Wrong, Nigel. Again.

"From the outside," what Campbell did was despicable.

    Anyone ever met Sol?

As a student me and a couple of mates spotted him in Sainsbury with a black bobble hat trying to look inconspicuous but standing out like a saw thumb.

It was comedy gold as he browsed the fish counter!

Was quite surprised. He was in the press at the time as a potential candidate was next years England 2010 team and there he was, on his own, right in front of us.

  5. I met him at a charity event, at the Lane, and he signed a shirt for me, along with a few of the other players who were around at that time.

Perhaps there is an Arsenal fan who would like to buy it off me?

For Spurs fans Quentin, yes undoubtedly... fans of other clubs won't really be that arsed ... I know I wasn't ... used to look forward to playing against Campbell because Emile Heskey nearly always gave him the run around whoever he was oplaying for ... Sorry to break the news to you Quentin .... but the Spuds v Goon willy waving contest isn't that important outside of Norf Lunnon (and perhaps Southampton / Dublin), Quentin. <laugh>

Substitute Campbell for Redknapp and we have the same position.

Pat actually had good reason to feel aggrieved when Burkinshaw decided that he would no longer be Spurs no. 1 and would have to play second fiddle to Barry Daines. He didn't really want to leave Spurs. This is why he'll always be held in such high regard by both sets of fans. Burkinshaw has since conceded this as the worst managerial decision of his career.

Absolutely. Blame Burkinshaw for that one. Big Pat never wanted to leave (and indeed works at the Lane to this day). Completely different.

I'm going to assume pretty strongly that that this was in the last century.

He's a treacherous, immoral, self serving sack of ****e.

True, that any player who left and joined The Goons would never be popular with Spurs fans. But pure hatred is reserved only for Judas because of his slimy, devious behaviour.
