We want to win every game yes? What will happen if we achieve that? Someone has to come out and say we should throw games in order to stay in this 2nd division, or shut the **** up!
Doh fat fingers I was trying to reply to the comment you get 99mil for ending up bottom. Two questions please: Does going up in top spot make a difference (yep); Do the Allans go to away games? Second q is just my curiosity. Would love to go up with a title (not had since Div 3 North 1966??? Or was that runner up also?) Big psychological issue for me - champions.....not jut invited in but barging in with a big statement this time
How much do we have to pay them? And what's a one pint pip? I've got some Baileys left but I don't know if there's any ice.
Nicely put SB, the journey from Macclesfield & Cheltenham to Manchester & Chelsea was brilliant, every City fan EVER, wanted to make it - we got where we wanted but found it wasn't all it was cracked up to be, the Taylor Report, all seater stadiums with ****ish stewarding, the replacing of the typical fans with ''spectators'' saw to that. I'm glad I saw it, the Premier League, the three trips to Wembley, the playing in Europe ... I still want the best for Hull City but, the game belongs to the modern, younger fans, tbh .... they're welcome to it; they can leave us older ****ers to keep playing our 'broken records'.
I think the players will rise to the occasion of playing those rivals away from home. They're bound to have large away followings and, if ever there was a reason to be up for a game, this is it. Even if some of/all these games are televised.
If we don't go up it will be a big disappointment, we have the team and the platform to go up automatically, I will be surprised if we are not in the top two at the end of the season.
I think the trouble with the young fans of today is,, they by n large deem themselves to cool to get rowdy. When i was 16 i didnt give a ****e
We should go up...at least through the playoffs... given the strength of our squad. But we have to... (a) Avoid injuries to key players...notably Hernandez, McGregor (b) Loan or sign another effective striker to support/back up Abel (c) Play far better on the road to supplement our excellent home record (d) Have Bruce not repeat the tactical (retreat into defensive shell in last 20 minutes), and team selection mistakes that contributed massively to last seasons second half collapse and eventual relegation. Personally I believe (d) is the one that is most likely to cost us. Otherwise promotion should be nailed on!!
I make it 10 points dropped against the current bottom 8 from those 8 games (ie 14 points gained): Lost to Rotherham and Charlton. Drew with Blackburn and Brizzle C. Beat Hudds, Fulham (h), MK Dons and Bolton. We dropped 15 points from the rest (gaining 30 from 15 games).
For some reason I had tws and their scummy neighbours the wrong way round. In fact, im almost 100% certain the table I looked at had hudders above leeds. Possibly an error that's been amended.
