Maybe that's my problem. We have a system that works with players that work in it. If he came in, got fit, then replaced an in form Honeyman that (if I was Honeyman) would piss me off something rotten. Could upset others as well in the squad. If he was that good, why hasn't he been playing at an average West Ham side as well? 2 seasons ago he looked awesome but my guess is that something changedIt's not about just instantly dropping someone for him. He'd come in gradually, he won't be fit at all. Give him a month or so to get completely up to speed and he'd be in instead of Honeyman for me from the team that have started the past few games.
Not saying Honeyman has done anything wrong, in fact the opposite, he's surprised me completely as I wasn't even expecting him to be on the bench let alone start.
