It would be prudent to at least start reducing it a little at a time. However, would seem unlikely given Allamhouse gets 5% pa on the loan.
So you turn someone off so you /he can't read the post's and then you turn to name calling. Mr. Hat was right, you are an A grade ****er
5% is sod all when he could have started off a pay day loan company and got 1000% or more It's not about the Allams making millions imo
Slightly concerned at the money been spent on average PL players, but it's not my money (well directly not anyway) so, meh. One thing it does prove is the value of the Curtis Davies signing last summer.....
Wasn't a dig at the Allams, as such. More that reducing debt where possible is a good thing for any business. But, as Chilton says, it ain't my money so what they do is up to them. The numbers only look big because of the money we get from TV and most things are only worth what someone is prepared to pay - ie. a market.
Have to say I'm very jealous. He'd have fit like a glove here. How many millions did you part with this time? Did you break your record again?
What type of glove? You just cannot say things like that without being more specific. £8m by the look of it sadly, which looks to equal the record.
Will be a good addition, however agree we appear to have paid too much, but he is young like Livermore, so will have a reasonably good sell on value in a year or two's time. At the end of the day over 3 or 4 years whatever the contract is for, a couple of million extra is probably worth paying if he does well.
We've built our first team for the forseable future now though. I don't think we'll see investment like this for a few more years. Just the odd buy here and there to patch things up/ thicken out the squad. Thats what we should/have done and I think its great. Maguire as well to come in for the future and I think a few more you'uns ready for bit-part roles and we'll be furniture in the Prem!
