Hmmmmm. They are simple folk with little intelligence; they promote inbreeding from their cess pit known as East Anglia. But, I've got nothing against them. Each to theirr own, thats what I say
Wow. Well being from the lovely flatland of Norfolk and a Leeds fan, and having actually met the nice chap I can only say very good things about him. Nice geezer who has endured enough of Bates lies. Good luck Bob and may the sunshine on you in Norfolk and enjoy the beaches there too, however, do please come back when the Canaries are relegated, they are not going to be a permanent EPL presence and we quite like you here at LUFC. That's much nicer isn't it? Bosh. LL.
Leeds nicer than Norwich and East Anglia? Have you been smoking crack or something? Talk about bitter. You are not the club that you used to be, GET OVER IT! You have to get used to players leaving for clubs with ambition and drive. Snoddy did not want to stay at a club that has neither.
Really? I am a King's Lynn lad and a LUFC fan - want a wager on relative levels of intelligence? Care to discuss quantum theory, dark energy, mantle plumes, plate tectonics, tertiary systems, competitive dissolution, nuclear fusion in 3rd generation suns, the relationship and relative ages of the Longmynd and the Uriconian, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy of plutonium 239? No, I didn't think so. Anyway I'm off to shag my sister. One more shag than you'll get today.
You're right about why Snoddy left, but if you think Norwich is nicer than Leeds, and East Anglia nicer than Yorkshire, you're seriously delusional.
I can understand the bitterness of the Leeds fans but can only assume that those slagging off our fine City have never ventured outside of the North. I regularly vist the Leeds / Bradford area as my wife comes from there. (Yes, that's right, from Yorkshire not my sister ). Quite frankly Bradford is an absolute ****hole of the highest order, dreadful place and I'm sorry but Leeds isn't too far behind. There, I've bitten but to even suggest that the quality of life up there is better than Norwich and Norfolk is bloody laughable. You don't even feel safe in broad daylight up there let alone at night. Strange so many ex Norwich players come back to settle here after retiring isn't it ? Like I say, I can understand the bitterness I would be the same if the shoe was on the other foot. Slag off my club if it makes you feel better, but don't talk bollocks about the county of Norfolk
Norfolk is good for a week max then its boring as ****. Leeds and Yorkshire has everything you could possibly want, just dont venture to Bradford haha
You're talking ****. Norwich is nice, but it doesn't compare to Leeds. Bradford is a **** hole though.
If by boring you mean safe then yes. The crime report at our local council meeting read as follows: Break in at an allotment shed - 1 spade stolen, later returned. That was it for the whole quarter of the year, one crime that wasn't even really a crime (as such). Counter that to when I visited Leeds and had to contend with feral kids (not teenagers younger than that) roaming in gangs then battering **** out of each other with broom poles, this fight was then broken up by their drug dealer parents, rubble all over it was like visiting ****ing Beirut There you got me I bit sure there might be things that are better in Leeds than where I live in Norfolk like: Public transport Nightlife Bars Various other local amenities But when I look out of my window and see Barn Owls hunting over the marshes it more than makes up for it for me. My kids don't find it boring (both <5) they don't have an Xbox (but I might buy one) or anything like that but they go outside and hunt for bugs and play, we go to local nature reserves where they hunt for slow worms and lizards and frogs and snakes. All of which is far healthier than fast food, bowling etc that they miss by not being in a "major city"
Simon it depends what people are looking for I found Norfolk as a place really nice just once you get past that I found it really boring, once the Leeds Arena is built it literally has everything and obviously the yorkshire dales have the other side of it
i love yorkshire - beautiful part of the country i love norfolk - same as above i love norwich - incredibly attractive and historic city not so keen on leeds - i like the city centre but there are some real scumbags living there at least we can all agree that bradford is a ****hole
Both cities are surrounded by brilliant countryside. Norwich is more a "nice" place, whereas Leeds is obviously bigger and has more of a buzz about it and more going on, personally that makes Leeds more my kind of city, but each to their own I suppose.
i think that's a fair assessment norwich is a much more vibrant place than people give it credit but is obviously much smaller than leeds in terms of population. i personally prefer living in a smaller city and would rather visit a large city (new york is the best) but others would rather the other way round. what isn't up for dispute is who currently has the premier league team...
