But he chose to play in the PL. How can we in the championship can keep a player from achieving his dream of playing at a higher level?

By not accepting transfer bids for them, and convincing them to stay with both words and actions (i.e. ambitious, forward-thinking signings).

We've failed to do that and been WEAK and SHORT-TERMIST again.

My concern is that he said himself that he will WAIT to see how the pre-season starts to unfold, he will wait to see if the players we bring in shows ambition and reflect a squad that can challenge for promotion. He did wait, he did watch a few signings come in and he has chose to leave - What does that say?

We could have turned down the bid and allowed him to play out his contract, the new owners pleaded with him to stay as that is what they wanted. Instead Harvey/Bates accepted the bid so what does that say? They are going to pocket the money or at least £2M of it...

It says that he was talking bull****. The club has spent and reinforced the team, it had offered him and White great contracts...
He always wanted to go, but the sniffling little coward did not have the balls to say it.
Clearly he thought that we would not spend or keep White, so that he could leave and blame it on a lack of ambition.

Wake up and smell the coffee, his head was turned by money and Premiership football long ago.

Lets MOT & move on!

Worked in NYC in the mid 80's, lived in Queens and then moved up to Albany. Love NYC still to this day and my wife and I visit it every year to shop and visit people.
I have been to Florida many times and enjoy the place, it's a different kind of American state and appeals to certain people.
I personally hate Philadelphia and would never wish to live in the ****hole.

i quite like philly but i do have friends and family there so maybe i'm a bit biased! gotta love their cheesesteaks :D

Where is the evidence that so called new owners? Players have teams over a barrel. They dictate where to go and when. There is no point about getting angry.
