Indeed, there's a bit of history rewriting going on here.

The reasons given for Harrison's sacking were the poor quality of the pitch and the giving of tickets to volunteer divoters, Cook working for FC on his watch was very much a footnote. The SMC conceded unfair dismissal, which allowed them to ignore the reasons given previously and switch the entire defence into the issue of Cook working for FC on his watch, as Cook was obviously the weak link (he was no doubt terrible during his disciplinary and they knew he'd been equally terrible giving evidence at the tribunal).

I still have a great deal of sympathy for Harrison, I think he was stitched up.

Less so for Cook, obviously, as he came out with a load of bollocks about what he did and didn't do.

And wasn't it determined that after he got the argonomist in, that they actually said the grounds men had done an OK job, and they recommended getting more people repairing divots to help the problem.

We do have some nice stations.
There' s one lovely little one near St Ives.
It' a little village called Erth .Very quaint

Hardly the same thing though. I like the old stations on steam preservation lines. My wife puts up with me having a look around any when we are away. I balance that with sitting in a cafe whilst she wanders around a shopping centre before invariably informing me she hasn't bought anything as there was nothing at a price she was willing to pay.

Is that Cafe or Bar

Stop being a ****ing idiot, I dislike the Allams more than you and that' says something. The Allams admitted doing the procedure wrong and doesn' need endorsing by me. The point is that either way they were or would have been sacked; unlike you who is *gasp* sackless. <doh>

Charming.

I too have some sympathy for Harrison, but he left the back door open for a classless employer to do his worse and the arsehole did exactly that. Cook was a disgrace and should have put his hands up and disappeared quietly.

Both sides had class legal representation, the tribunal was fair and the result said all that needed to be said. There are other and better things to focus on in the opposition of the Allam family. This was a sad story from the onset and was never going to end well. I hope lessons have been learnt.

Impressed that you managed to include "the back door", "arsehole" and "Allam" all in the same post.

All the same thing aren't they?
